Today I learned that reading the card does in fact explain the card for the umpteenth time, and, more importantly, that Baylen does not specify CREATURE token. Time to go figure what to cut from my Rocco, Street Chef deck.

As a Token deck enjoyer I would definitely like to build Baylen. But so far Ygra is the one that has me most excited for because I’ve already got few Token decks (and there will be more), but I don’t have a Food deck yet and Ygra hits a sweet spot that no other Food Commander has for me. So Ygra is at the top of my list, and Baylen is a close second for priority.

I don't know if it will be cedh viable because no blue, but there are lots of ways to make infinite tokens, and it doesn't have to be dockside, since any tokens you can tap will make infinite mana. I also really like that he only costs 3 mana, there are lots of spells you can use to make tokens on turns 1 and 2 so he also functions as ramp and card draw before you get a combo on the board. Even "bad" token spells like dragon fodder and krenko's command turn into 2 mana ramp spells. Samwise gamgee and other cheap token engines turn into serious ramp/card draw advantage very quickly. I am excited to see what people brew up with this guy.

I could definitely see some people playing it, you get all the good abolisher effects and you do just win with dockside. You get to play emiel and temur sabertooth wich is awesome and you get the back up of a hug rabbit in the command zone

Definitely cEDH viable but probably not as strong as Rocco. Works great with all the usual token combos (dockside/Emiel or Kiki/untapper). Don't see it being useful in the 99 as you've already won by the time you assemble your combo anyway.
