Begosian had an absurd amount of 20+ mph skating bursts last year. 74 to be exact and a top speed of 23.96 mph. For reference Makars top speed last year was 23.27.

@@sopulii04 This is because of NHL Edge which is their advanced tracking technology. Since it was publicly released you will see all sorts of wacky new stats especially in official non-hut rosters. FWIW, Begosians top speed of 23.96 is faster than 98% of the NHLers. Hard to believe but it’s true.

I don’t think the L2 is that much of an advantage. It takes some skill to master it. The auto 1ts are a different issue
