Wet and Wild is clearly saying: I'm coming for you, Elf! This is some serious competition for Elf and I'm glad to see that. I've felt like Elf has been dominating the field this past year, but with the successful, I've also been watching prices creep up. Elf has a loose powder that is $8 and while it is great, that is getting away from part of what Elf has been known for; affordable cosmetics. I'm glad to see Wet and Wild is going to come out swinging! I hope Wet and Wild continues to bring out quality, affordable products that can equal or surpass Elf.

I hope not. The new larger pallets they just put out are getting terrible reviews. The Color Icon formula has been a mainstay for decades and even though they did reformulate a few years ago, it is still very good. I hope Wet and Wild doesn't eliminate something that is such an excellent product, but I can't imagine why they'd come out with a similarly sized pallet if this isn't their ultimate plan.

I literally just bought one of those wet n wild lippies at Walmart, then came home and saw your video! I agree, the shades were not what I ~usually~ go for, but I picked up the shade Girl, You're Whipped (lol), and as you noted, they're more muted on the lips than on the tube, this is a nude-ish peachy tone you might enjoy. I'm definitely going to pick up the first shade you mentioned (Pour some Sugar on me? Or whatever, lol) since it's not so crazy on the lips! You are the first person to give a decent review of these- especially the shadows (Have not heard anything other than here about the lip products, but saw them on Ulta and wondered. Don't know why I still look at lip products, unless they won't remove on to a mask. I am glad you don't watch other videos first and give a review based on that. It helps to hear different opinions that haven't been nudged by other opinions, which I know is so easy to do, so we couldn't blame y'all if u did. After a fair trial of the shadows, how do you compare them to the ELF 4 pan ones, since they are so close in price. I LOVE those!
