Any suggestions for an RC Boat that's +30mph and under $150? Similar to the Atomik Barbwire 2 (don't know what price was on that), cannot find that anymore though. The TR-1200 looks pretty decent, but it's a bit up there at $150. Apparently it was on Amazon for $130 at one point. Have the H102 Velocity, which is good, but not real fast. Something in the $100-$125 range. Thanks!

Its funny that you are doing boat week. I just got the Kyosho Wave Chopper 2 this afternoon. I am going to run it for the first time tomorrow, we will see how it does, it is just a brushed motor, but I have a brushless ESC and motor I want to put in it to make it go faster. Cant wait to see what else you guys have for the rest of boat week.

You can get some water on the inside through the prop shaft too.

I remember the rescue, but really can't remember which boat. The only drawback I have with my FT1011 is that the battery doesn't last long. Haven't gotten to it, but for the windshield I want to scuff it up and spray paint it with chrome paint, should look pretty neat, I think. The red one y'all had on the channel was neat with the low battery indicator beep on the radio/ transmitter

This still seems like a pretty cool rc boat for the money. The only thing which is disturbing me from buying Wl912-A is that bit of water getting inside the engine compartment. If WLtoys fixed their seal, I think it could easily be the best boat for the buck. Is anyone still using it now that 6 months from the original review have passed? Is the 'leaking' still about the same, or getting worse over time? Thanks for any feedback!

Although I live about a 15 minute walk from a State Park lake and a 10 minute drive or so to three other lakes I've yet to get an RC boat. I have this fear of the boat dying in the middle of the lake with me unable to recover the boat. Non the less I still enjoy watching your boat videos. And, yes, I do remember the tugboat rescue video.

LoL, another fun video. Of course boats turn better one way than the other. P factor. Torque yaw from the prop. Get your hands on an Incorrect Craft/Ski Nautique! Then try to dock it. Come at a dock at a 30° angle and bump the other brands (Supra, Centurion, Master Crate...) in reverse. The driver's side will swing to the dock so you can catch it slick as snot. The Nautique will swing it's tail away from the dock. Opposite rotation. Congratulations, you paid 20% more for a boat that makes you look bad! LoL

You should do a full video of how the water cooling system works in an rc boat with animation. I think it’s over looked by almost every channel. You have a large channel with a lot of talented viewers and I bet even if you don’t know how to make that video, I bet someone in your community does. Just an idea. Thanks for all the videos.

I just picked up 2 of these, first time out and both were having constant throttle cutting out every other second. Did okay a slow speed, but couldn’t get either of them to opperate at full throttle 🤷‍♂️

Hope u get that sr85 lime green catram boat from volantex. I'm sure u guys will like that one and they have from same company in bang goods .. volantex rc boat that's orange also regular hull.. both are brushless and there about 200. I think green one is 229... but orange one is 199... I think.. in bang goods website.. go check them out. They around 32 inches boats.. near that size..

Id be hesitant to run almost any boat on a river without some type of recovery method. If the battery dies or anything happened at all, it would vanish quickly due to the moving water. Personally, Id probably give it a shot. I doubt the river is moving faster than this boat, but I don’t want to recommend you do this and lose your boat. Good luck! Happy RCing 👍😁😎⚓️

Looks like a great deal. HOWEVER, looks like it uses NiMh packs. If so, you’ll certainly NEED that second battery, after which you’ll probably have to charge it overnight. That’s the biggest drawback to my Harbor Freight speedboat. It doesn’t self right and isn’t super fast, but I get about 40 minutes off the supplied NiMh battery!!! Maybe you should review that one in the future.

Sure! NOW you post this after I JUST bought 2 of these Force1 Velocity RC Boat - H102 RC! Please tell me that I made a good purchase! I had a really bad experience with bangood ; I ordered 2 boats in early August and they still haven't shipped them so I demanded a refund then went to Amazon for the 2 H102's (one red one blue) for my wife's BIRTHDAY.

I bought the Force1 H102 Velocity back in 2018. It's right in line with this WLTOYS one.. most of the ones in this price range will be similar.. the ones in the $30-$40 price range will be a bit slower, these are maybe mid 20ish mph. Good for a lake/pond/pool, but not for a river. I like it. Good run time, good range, handles well. Eventually, will want more speed :) One note, you may have to adjust the steering on the back of the boat. Do a search, you'll find it. What happens is, it doesn't want to go straight, it'll try to turn to just one side. You have to turn the opposite direction just to go straight, and so you can only turn one way. You move a clip for the rudder from one hole to another, and that fixes it.
