In my opinion, the HOVR Sonic 4 is possibly the BEST RUNNING SHOE as of 2022, and its previous models (more like HOVR Sonics 1 and 2) have been my favorite RUNNING shoes of all time. And I have had many.

Quick question my hovr sonic 4s don’t have anywhere on the shoe mentioning the Bluetooth connectivity and my shoes are not able to connect to under armour apps did UA produce hovr 4 without Bluetooth

It did have it. I know this as a fact since I used it often for my runs. I have the HOVR SONIC 6s and am noticing they are not including the Bluetooth anymore. I'm not sure why. I may review these shoes, too. I'm just not sure if anyone would care since there aren't many changes, and I still can't run due to my ankle being messed up. Hope that helps.

would you recomment these running shoes for a 5k marathon? or what distance marathons are these recommended for?

A 5k is not a marathon. However, Sonics are perfect for 5k and 10k runs (~3-7 miles). The Infinites, I know little of, are designed for marathons, which is anything more than 12 mile runs.

Hi what's your height? I have tried a project rock hover shoes sized 11 and they felt and looked small. I'm just wondering if they have the same size set as this sonic 4. Im 5'11 btw

Hey! I'm about 5'10.5 (I rate that half, hahaha). I just think UA in general has tighten up their sizes by a centimeter. It may be due to the outter mesh materials used or perhaps the added cushion on the inside walls. That's unfortunate, too, since this means you have to shop for two sizes just to be safe. The Sonic is probably the best of the HOVR (except Sonic 2) next to the Guardian shoe. The foam carrier is the best like cushlon better than the Phantom. I use my special inserts.

Have you tried the New Balance 680 running shoes. I tired 5 UAs recently and I'm of the opinion they don't match up to NB 680. The NB 680 is far more absorbent and gives a far superior energy return. But I'm a 5km daily guy, so I know nothing about longer runs and shoe performance in that situation.

No, I haven't. I'm pretty they are good though. New Balance are a legit company. Just been focusing on UA since im a fan. I hope they step it up for their HOVR Sonic 6.

I wear shoe size 6. Should I have to go for 6.5 size or 6 would work?

Hi there. That depends. If you have narrow feet go with a 6. If you're on the wider side go 6.5. Of course, these are suggestions from using these shoes. It will vary on length of your toes, toe spacing, walking/running mechanics, and generally comfort. My feet fit snug with an 11.5. Good for style and casual wear but poor for running. A size 12 however fits better for my feet to function properly.

@@GabeCuello I bought today a pair of sonic 4 and I went for 0.5 size up. Even though all other models from UA and even from other brands I have 0.5 smaller. Do they run also smaller for you comparing to other shoes?

They do feel a tiny bit snug compared to the previous model. The 4s were more forgiving in the outter fabrics stretch but the 5s are just stiff and therefore dont stretch or flex. Not entirely a bad thing but then the shoes design has taken a loss for fit. Meaning, its too narrow.

"Much" no. There's a difference but not much. I have ran in them several times so far and even hiked in them. They are good. Just wish it were wider in the toe box for the toes to splay.

My foot size is US 8 but after watching this I think I should buy a pair of US 8.5 or US 9.

Hey! Yea, I'd get try the 8.5 if your feet are moderately narrow. If you have wide feet (or island feet, lol) shoot for a size 9.

New Balance 608 v7 Wide is far more superior and comfortable. UA are small, buy a size up or New Balance (better choice).
