Who remembers the mini documentaries at the beginning of 'the mysterious cities of gold'?? I love this 80s, comforting and hopeful presentation style. The world was simpler and calmer before phones distracted everyone

Cool upload. Never knew these exsisted. Stacey Keach was a really good actor. Bit of a real rebel as well. Didnt see him for years till American history X came out. So a little surprised seeing he did this. Must be 80's early ninties?

@@philipalbon3192 Yep. If I remember. He did get caught for importation years ago. And yes a solid actor. Bit of a tough rebel who was involved in unions I think. For some reason I always thought he was Australian. As I think he was in a b-horror movie Razorback. If not some really good underground movie from back in the day. Also got a DVD somewhere which is set in some government pshy-op's hospital where their getting mk ultra type indoctrination. Supposedly based on a true story. Bless

What a blast from the past. I’ve been to lots of these standing stones in Cornwall. Amazing place. Now my grandparents are gone they lived there and showed me. The stone what is ciurular with a whole in it. with 2 other stones either side apparently you climb through the hole and around each stone. I remember there were offerings left on top. Coins.

There is a hermetic correspondence with Glastonbury and the heart chakra, worth noting the british pound symbol otherwise known as the libra pondo directly corresponds to Venus, copper, green and heart chakra.

Can you guys please upload these videos with a higher sound level ? It shouldn't be that hard, you know ; ) Thanks.

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE SOUND ALSO, I'VE TRIED A LOT OF WAYS TO TURN IT UP BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW? EVERYTHING ELSE IS AT NORMAL SOUND, EXCEPT FOR HIM TALKING.
@lindasue87192 ай бұрын
It's hard to get old TV programs to play well given their original sound (it just doesn't covert well to computers etc). Only so much can be done to improve it. I didn't find the sound here a problem at all.
@18Maart1915Gallipoli2 ай бұрын
@@lindasue8719 Yeah maybe you're right about the old TV programs's converting issues but i don't think that that is the problem here. Because other videos are mostly fine. No. I meant something else. When the video's sound level is low, it's very annoying when the commercials show up every 5 to 10 minutes, you know. Because they sound much harder. This is my problem ;(

Stonehenge existed a long time before Druids existed. I believe the Henge was actually encased in wooden cladding at times of gatherings. Not religious but commerce

It's not avalon. It is special though. After the crucifixion of Jesus, Joseph of Aramathia brought 11 people from the holy land. Mary, mary magdalane and others. All given a hide of land (144 acres) around Glastonbury. King Arthur was 6th century and was king of Glamorgan and Gwent. Glastonbury Abbey was built in 940AD. Abbot Dunstan was the first Abbot in 941AD.

What if the church stole pagan sites erected churches are they not allowed to reclaim site from latest upstart Christianity
@kevinoneil56Ай бұрын
@@seanirvine3291 You have a point, but I would see it differently. The Church didn't 'steal' the pagan sites, there was general consensus among the population that Christianity, with its one sacrifice of the Son of God that obtained forgiveness and eternal salvation, was to be preferred to the sacrifice of chickens and, on occasions, even human beings, and the worship of unclean spirits, none of which obtained eternal salvation but kept society in ignorance. However, you have a point, in the modern era the Church has failed to maintain the purity of the original message, even including pagan practices and the worship of unclean spirits in its Services. Therefore, as you rightly point out, they are forfeiting the right to occupy those sites. I do wonder, however, what percentage of the population would agree to the sites being given over to paganism.
@kevinoneil56 " Church didn't steal there was a general concenus in Christianity"??? Christianity was brought to pagan britian by genocide ! ... they burnt our sacred groves , killed all the indigenous practitioners of the old ways , desecrated our holy places and built churches over the top , then spent further centuries hunting and persecuting and killing any one not Christian enough ... witch trials etc.... history matters and pagan britian is still here ...
