What do you use for sun damage/age spots? I didn't see a blue hue in either palette.

Great question! Brown is a composite color made up of many different colors. You will need to play around with combinations of yellow and green.. sometimes peach can work as well. Using blue is a challenge because it tends to make the skin look bruised.

Very thorough! I definitely have darkness around my eyes but I've decided it's perfectly fine! I think it can look great on people and I get to a point when I think it's better to embrace it than try to fight what's natural. I love that you went gray Cindy and I think it looks really good. I'm almost 60 and have very few grays but my mom was the same way. Eventually they'll be here and I hope to embrace them too!

I really like the idea of that Stila palette. I have peach-undertoned skin (red/orange back when Prescriptives existed) with similar darkness around my eyes. I have kind of developed a way to fix it for Zoom calls (I teach online) witha combination of some peachy Bobbie Brown and a yellowy Fenty concealer. Sadly, the texture of these solutions, even over my Urban Decay eyelid priming potion (the paste in the purple tubes) , looks crepey and wrinkly. I never really learned how to use eye creams and such. My other issue is that I basically have dry eye and in the summer am very prone to chalazia along my lash line. After all that backstory, my question is: Does the Stila palette ever have an irritating effect on your eyes? I am new to the channel,, so please forgive if you address this elsewhere. I am a couple years north of 50 and my eye sensitivities are not going to get any better, but if I do not color correct for the camera, I look *very* tired and worn.

Hi and welcome to the Beyond 50 Skin family. I too have naturally dry eyes and they are easily irritated by products that don't bother most people. I am able to use the Stila palette without any irritation. Most concealers just make mature under eye look crepey. I recommend a dedicated eye moisturizer before the Stila (pick any one you like but here are my faves shopmy.us/collections/67631) I didn't used to think a dedicated eye cream was needed until my mid 50s lol.
