Under Fire: A 1981 armored car robbery near New York City left one guard dead and another critically wounded. Police stopped suspects nearby and another shoot-out ensued, claiming the lives of two officers. Local police and the FBI suspected a large group of domestic terrorists with a history of violent crime. They would try to ferret out these heavily armed criminals who moved in a shadowy underworld and were not afraid to kill authorities.
Manhunt: When a California man was found dismembered in 1990, police suspected a local burglar, but they couldn’t find him. Six months later, he was caught robbing an Arizona bank and sentenced to life. But prison couldn’t hold him for long, and within a year he escaped. The FBI would lead a multi-agency manhunt for a killer on a desperate run through the tourist regions of the west.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

I love the FBI files a lot b/c they show every detail by making movies that describes ( reveals or resembles) the actual crime. And they do an amazing job here. This way one can understand what really happened very easily, b/c seeing is much more convincing than hearing.

One of the things that's so shocking about the armored car/domestic terr0rist case is that the cops had to get a warrant to bug the house, and even then, it took weeks of recording conversations before they could get enough evidence to raid the place. (Cops didn't have qualified immunity until after the 1981 case.) Nowadays, all it takes for a middle of the night, no-knock SWAT raid on the wrong house is a cop's hunch that somebody somewhere once had some weed. After they throw flash bangs into the baby's crib, bust out all the doors and windows, run over the yard and all the fences with their MRAPs, they just say "oops". The innocent homeowner is left with the medical bills, repair bills, the people and pets are maimed or kiIIed, and when they try to sue, the judge says "Nope, the cops are protected by Qualified Immunity." (For reference: baby Bou Bou Bounkham Phonesavanh in Georgia, Dennis and Rhogena Tuttle in Texas, Waylon Price in Ohio, and many, many, many more.)
