I thank God that there are still among the SDA's that uphold God's standard of music. Impressive to see no jewelry, music untainted by worldly influence. God is very specific that anything in relation to God should be totally separated from worldly standards. There needs to be a distinct separation between the profane and sacred. Got is infinite and our finite mind cannot fathom Him. I thank God for you brothers and sisters for upholding heaven's standard. May God endow all off with fortitude to stand on His principles that He has given us for each of us to follow.

Under His Wings is a soulful gospel song composed by Stephen Manders, and inspired by the 19th century hymn of William Orcutt Cushing and music of Ira D. Sankey. Background edit During the late 19th century, Cushing wrote the hymn titled, "Under His Wings." The words of this hymn reflected Cushing's personal suffering, and was inspired by Psalm 17:8,[1] which states “keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of your wings.” Ira Sankey eventually added a tune to this piece. Just so all know that it was. Non-SDA who wrote this beautiful song, and the man who wrote the music was not a SDA either. They both attended churches that were forbidden by EGW to attend.
