If you really listen, Brian’s marimba playing really is soulful. There’s like little subtle pauses and touches that gives it a feel. Anyone who tells me that kind of riff creation and playing ain’t part of the song writing process can kiss my ***

In recent concerts this is one song that doesn't seem the same as the original.The use of marimbas put the song in another level.

Even in 1966, it sounded different. Jones played the marimba riff on guitar live.
