Almost 25 years I’ve been into fighting games, UNICLR is among the finest I’ve ever played. That game brought me back to what I love about the genre. It gave me the excitement I had when I was playing X-Men vs Street Fighter for the first time. I am stoked that it’s back for another round, with new moves and new characters, and furthering the story.

You’re missing out. By all means, if you’re into this one, go for it. But if you want to go back just a touch, UNICLR is among the finest fighting game experience you can have and will set you up perfect for this one. Everything about UNICLR is spot-on, the gameplay, the mechanics, the U.I, the designs, the music. Raito is a brilliant composer, his work for Melty and Under Night is god tier all around.

Plus, when when they made one that was just as good (if not bettre( they replaced that too. Honeslty, i want the arcade opening too - i wouldnt even know about it if i didnt study abroad

They said it's the last game of the series at least, story wise. But they can upgrade the game for years with more content. I think they will do a second season pass to round up the roster to 30 and I'm 100% sure Uzuki will be the first season pass character. At least, I hope so. Can't wait to main her since 2013.

I think she is guaranteed, along with Uzuki and maybe Joker. But I think Silvaria could get in first and Adelheid for a possible season pass 2 (that way there would be a total of 30 characters, which is a nice way to end the game).

Same day as Tekken 8. That’s a rough date. Although, they’re two different fighting games for two different crowds. But Under Night has the advantage of still doing last gen consoles. So that might give it an extra push. But Tekken is just a powerhouse name

I don't think it's competing either way. Even if it was months earlier, it's in between MK1, Tekken 8, and whatever DLC SF8 drops. UNI 2 is more for French Bread faithful to begin with. It's a sequel to an 11 year old franchise and it seems pretty similar. New players will have a lot to learn and have an inclination to play it. I don't those games really factor into it, UNI had a really strong grassroots community during UNIST so maybe it can repeat that.

My bet for Uzuki, Arcueid & EN-Eins for Season 1. Easy choices for reasons: 1. Uzuki won the vote back in EVO 2022 2. Arcueid & EN-Eins needs to be there to rescue Sion & Akatsuki, & conclude their displaced involvements 3. Arcueid can easily be converted from MBTL, w/ additional sprites for future MBT games (IW/EX is UNI exclusive) 4. EN-Eins shares the same situation as Akatsuki on promoting the latest Arcade update title of their home series. Namely, Anastasis full launch, just like Ausf. Achse before it. EDIT: Is that really Vatista's ENG VA from BBTAG (Xanthe Huynh)?

@@DeepestDankest Means Sion & Akatsuki's displaced inclusion in UNI w/out 2nd guest rep from MB & AEN1 respectively cannot be concluded. Arcueid & EN-Eins should be the ones who can get them out of UNI world, & get them back on track in their respective home series storylines. Afterwards should stick with OG in next pass(es) like Joker & Ageha. Tell that to S2 of MBTL, which suddenly being FGO focus instead.

The Kaguya english trailer is not english dubbed so probably there won't be english VA. Those VA's were from Mori's money, not from French Bread's money. But this is still very content packed for an under night expansion, three characters announced, with three more coming for a total of six.
