NOTE: This video replaces a previous version that was uploaded and has repaired audio. We tried using some new microphones to 'improve' the audio experience. Unfortunately, during the editing process, I completely neglected to check the audio levels using earphones which caused a fair few comments about it. Ive fixed the audio in this version.
I always try to put out the best version of a video that we can, so you can imagine how horrified I was, when it was brought up in the comments.

Wireless lav mics are great, they take some getting used to for levels! I always find I have to adjust the level one way or the other.

@@JustJasonKeto the ones I have, had the interesting side effect that when two mic’s are active it uses one per channel - so it makes the mic mono and assigns it to either left or right of the stereo channel. I missed it when I edited because the laptop compensated and outputted in stereo. 🤦‍♂️ With head phones it was totally obvious!!

@@mattandmouse Oh, that would definitely be an issue! I will have to see if mine do that too, I have only used 1 of the pair so far!

OK, I’m sticking to it. I still think you should use that spare hole as a filler tube. I think the microphones work OK awesome job on the plumbing😊

@@TheSimpleAlaskans we have many plans… so, so many plans. I mentioned in another video our biggest challenge is time. But yes, planning on some form of red pipe. (I had an overly complex plan of heating it from the diesel heater exhaust to try and gain energy efficiency… we’ll see what happens!)
