Under The Bridge - July 2010

The Govan District travel 'Under The Bridge' as they return from Glasgow Green after the big walk. They are led home by the Larkhall Purple Heroes and following behind are, among others, The Pride of Govan, The Finaghy True Blues, The Govan Protestant Boys and The Broxburn Loyalists Flute Bands.

I never mentioned pride, but while I'm here: they talk about 'gay pride' and have parades, they talk about black pride. These are things people are born with and can't change. belonging to the Orange Order or playing in flute band are choices, made freely by the individual, so perhaps they are proud to have made those choices and happy to have been able to make them
