It's funny how people say this is a rip off to The Simpsons movie when this was originally written in the 70s but was released in 2009. So therefore Simpsons stole the idea.

As a matter of a fact, King started writing it in the 70's but sorta gave up, and started again in 2007.. don't matter though, it's a great book! highly recommended to those of you who found the idea of the series interesting.

Perhaps a description of what's happening here on Earth? Allow me to elaborate ; I am considered a very open minded person some would even say " A conspiracy theorist " It is 2019 & last night i had the strangest dream ,you know the one that stays with you all of the next day as it felt so real. Without going into it to much , i was walking around rather daised & confused in an unfamiliar place & just before i woke , the Medic or Doctor whom i happened to stumble across said to me " Oh my what have they done ? She spoke to another medic & i heard her say we've got another one from the "Dome" 🤔 Still confused i agreed to go along to find myself going in for a scan ( i would alike this simular to a cat scan machine ) I recall being scared somewhat At this point i threw myself off the the bench & then awoke in my bed exhausted. By the way i have never heard of this series "The dome" i googled it and this poped up. 🤔🤔

I urge everybody to read the novel first to really understand what king wants you to get from this story. To use 1000 pages to narrate only a few days really puts you in there! Also its pretty dark and horrifying at points which and Crosses some taboos i doubt they can show on any kind of TV. Just read it! But be prepared to find some dark feelings in your mind you didn't know were there!

Let me sum up the first season. 1- the dome comes down (cool!) 2- house on fire and ppl get crazy (sux) 3- they kill the crazy officer (...) 4- meningitis and shit getting drugs (...) 5- the nuke is comming! (Awesome) 6- the nuke did nothing and ppl needs water (...) 7- the water guy gets cocky Also they find a mini dome with an egg (...) 8- water guy dies and problem is solved. (...) 9- blonde girl appears and start making a sincity (...) 10- blonde girl still doing gambles and shit (...) 11- blonde girl dies, blames fall on the main character (...) 12- they find the main character and lost again (...) 13- they find the main character again and when they were about to execute him, the egg hatches or something

I mean, they could use those 13 episodes in a better way, rather than wasting time with sickness, water problems and hunting every single crazy person. They focus on the real stuff for about 5-10 minutes every episode and the rest they just fill in with random shit that no one cares about. And now I'll have to wait until july or something to watch.

Lokir of Roriksted Should've ended with the nuke killing them all IMO. I was excited up until this trailer, and the subsequent information revealed about the series. I think the reason it's so hard to translate King's novels into film is because there's so much heart in his narrative, you get so much out of every character in every scene, you can't see them in all three dimensions the way you can on paper. This really looks like a cash-in by CBS, hoping to bank off of King's best novel. It's doomed for failure though in the 10PM slot ona family-centric network.
