I've always loved this song. My 3 year old daughter loves this song. Tonight, I was at my computer working and she crawled into my lap and asked if "we could listen to the milky way song." This popped up and holy damn bro. New fan. That weak applause at the end makes me sad. Ya'll killed it.

I really appreciate your like on my comment...I'm super glad you saw it. Maybe you'll see this. My oldest son plays cello in the orchestra band in his middle school. He enjoyed this. So did my younger son, who told me tonight he wanted to learn guitar. So, like a good dad, I ordered an (admittedly entry level) yamaha acoustic for him. I guess I just wanted you guys to know you are inspiring kids. Two, my own, at least. Maybe that means something.

In the past I had to move around quite a bit, and often carried all I owned within a pack upon my back. During these times, concerns other then music and entertainment took center stage in my life, and so I missed out on much including "The Church." What must it be to perform in front of an audience and get negative feedback in the form of indifference and armchair expertise? Mike seems like the kind of guy who has long surpassed the need for that kind of approval while enjoying the positive response he does get. Show business must be quite disillusioning to young aspiring artists. One must not only be great, but must have or develop great character!
