My review: Wonderfully inspirational story. I just adore Skyler and Homer’s journey through everything life has thrown at them. Both are allowing God to lead their way. Rather than God and God’s love.” After reading book one in the series, I was hoping that Homer would get his own book soon. I could never have expected how it would come about though. Our heroine enters his life with a bang, scream, and a baby. Watching these two uncover things from the past together and move forward to the future was heart filling. Sweet moments as life is lived together. As the world of Raspberry Ridge continues to unfold with many new characters, this story and their hearts was a rewarding story. It was a sweet read that I could sit down and settle in with. I’m looking forward to more of this series as it deals with messy life, tough situations, calls out sins, and lives out a Biblical faith.

Pregnant and nearly due to deliver, Stryker Montgomery’s boyfriend dropped her off in Raspberry Ridge and left without a word taking her purse with him. Later that night, Homer Aiken finds her giving birth in his garage and ends up delivering her daughter. After he takes them to the hospital to be checked out, he offers her a job helping to keep an eye on his mother who has Alzheimer’s. He’s attracted to her quiet ways and her comforting touch with his mother, and she is attracted to him. A touching story about choices, working together, and trying to live God’s way. I highly recommend reading this book.
