It's a beautiful rendition of the Parisian chanson song Sous le Ciel de Paris - originally from a french film of the same name in the 50's. Look up Edith Piaf's recording of the original, or Zaz recording with english cc lyrics. The french lyrics are nothing at all like the later english ones for the song Under Paris Skies - same tune, from the late 50's. Neither version is classical, simply really pretty popular music of the day - top 40's.

No need to go, the picture in your head is beautiful enough. A lot of poverty in Paris too. So some places are really beautiful but some of the people live in such poor conditions between highways and roads.

"Sous le ciel de Paris" is a song initially written for the 1951 French film Sous le ciel de Paris, directed by Julien Duvivier. In the film it was sung by Jean Bretonnière. In the same year it was also recorded by Juliette Gréco, as well as Anny Gould. Thanks to Gréco and subsequent recordings by artists such as Édith Piaf (1954) and Yves Montand (1964) which popularised it, the song became a symbol of Paris for the world.
