There was a period where she was only serving underarm, but I think that has changed now and she can hit normal serves. But her serve has always been quite slow anyway.

@@Android18uk thee s a match of the olympics, vs andreeva and schneider , it was almost as if she was heavily ill in her arm. it was painful to watch i could nt keep watching it. but then in the evening I learned she and paolini actually won that match :D

If she did it cause she’s injured that’s understandable. But if she did it cause she wanted to surprise wozniacki and make her miss for psychological reasons, then it wasn’t such a great idea. She didn’t hit the underhanded serve well and ended up starting the point completely on the defensive. Bad underhanded serves with no placement or spin that don’t surprise the opponent will be punished by any high quality player that doesn’t choke.
