August, buddy, regarding the haters, I once heard someone say that you will never be criticized or hated by someone who has more going on than you. And it's so true. The worst comments I've ever gotten were almost always from people who had zero videos on their channel. They've never put anything out into the world, never opened themselves up to that kind of criticism, but they'll tell you how bad your stuff is. I try to empathize with them as best I can, I mean, they must be in a really dark place to just go around spewing hatred. It has nothing to do with you, it is a reflection of what they have going on inside. You just keep on doing your thing, sending love into the world, making videos that benefit our industry. Peace brother. "Hater's gonna hate, ain'ters gonna ain't." And painters gonna paint. Patrick

Ignore the trolls, your vid's are extremely well produced, informative and entertaining. Comparisons with other producers are meaningless. 23k folk love you enough to subscribe. Do what you do, when you want. No-one else combines decent indie music, video effects and the skill of your craft in such an enjoyable format. Your daily blog type vid's are informative and show really good examples of reasoning and safety. Thank you (and your team) for all that you so freely give us.

If, and it's a big if August was to resort to clickbait and sensationalism I'm sure he would garner more sub's. However it would be temporary as those who love his humility would probably bail out. If he ever became as phoney as Wranglerstar it would be a massive shame. Sub's will never be the measure of the man. If you followed how much love surrounded That Chipper Guy in his hours of need then you'll know sub's aren't friends, sub's just mean folk who'll watch you flounder. Positive posters , the guys who keep their words soft and their criticism constructive are the folk who matter. My life is better in no small measure for having found this channel. Long may it continue.

Billy Ray lives just down the road from me about 150 miles or so, and I watch some of his vids, mostly the ones when he is falling difficult trees. I mainly want to learn the right way when falling because I have acreage which I harvest from. I find your vids to be more methodical and analytical and your methods more fine tuned. Billy is a very good faller and more of a character and display's it well, you to me are more of a teacher and display your confidence well. Thanks to you both.

I think you do fantastic videos August , I love the way you do the different views from drone , helmet cam , ground cam , the commentary , the easy relationship you have with your team , the rock paper scissors , tossing horse shoes for a bit of fun , it's all good , the old saying of " if you have nothing nice to say , say nothing " seems to have fallen by the wayside on many social media sites , anyone can be a critic when they're typing but they forget words can hurt . What I like most about August and his crew is their use of PPE. Even in the bucket Damien was tied in with a safety harness. All you have to do is read TCIA Magazines Accident Reports every month to see the number of tree people who fall out of buckets to their death. The Sena gear in their helmets makes communications so much better and the job site that much safer. The one thing I wish is that August would do a video on what it takes to get a tree company up and running and the constant maintenance on the equipment and how all of that takes time and money. A lot of viewers just see guys doing their jobs in trees not realizing what it takes for that to happen. I am sure all of the arborists would love to hear some of the things August learned that made his life better on his way to becoming a successful arborist company.

Will...Please read my comment. I know and you know and August's crew knows but read TCIA Accident reports every month to see the number of people who don't. There is always one or more getting thrown or knocked or just fall out of a bucket

In my past, was given a chainsaw in the military and told to go forth and CUT.. Not well and managed to not get killed, did get slapped by many a tree going in to the chipper. In my day once they hit the drum, they shot in and lord help those who didn't pay attention. Second, I enjoy your honesty, being real, not perfect but seem to be a real great human. Sir, continue to be YOU, enjoy what you do both in your work life, video and most importantly with your God and family. The last two will be all that truly matters in the end.

Always enjoy watching your videos bro! Tree guys just have a completely different code of edacity, like most brothers we tend to be alright with being rude to each other on a daily basis. Something I love about your videos is seeing how much you have grown and how God is continually working with us to become who we were created to be. In an industry where I have seen so many people profit by not caring about others it is refreshing to see someone who's entire success revolves around caring about those around you! The guys did a great job working together on that tree! It was going to go slow no matter what, that's when you need the other crew out making easy money. In this case it was you, running to the po and making a YT video.
