Maybe, but something feels wrong about the fact that the officers asked Niko to leave just so that they wouldn't have to worry about the EDLs getting violent. They are there to keep the peace and him leaving is in the best interest of both him and the police. For the police they prevent any violence from the protesters. While Niko avoids any altercations. And again the police aren't allowed to intervene really before anything illegal happens. And honestly I think this particular cop actually did a really good job explaining just that. He didn't demand Niko to leave only recommended it and gave their reasons why.
