I have a question about the game rules: Should Undercover stick to his/her word? For example, if Undercover got Train and if Civilians got Aeroplane, can Undercover say fly in the second round? Or do they have to stick to words relating to Train?

That's a great question nikeipod1! 😉 Officially, the Undercover must stick to his/her word. So if they've got "Train", they are not allowed to say "fly". However, if they know the Civilian word they can make sure to choose descriptions that work for both words. In this case, they could say "ticket", or if they want to confuse everyone they could even say "Airport", because many airports also have a train connection 😜👍

Different languages have same word but in that language. Ideally you guys should add some words of that location, for eg. I am from India and it would be more fun if there are some Bollywood, Indian dishes, etc words included in the game.. this would be such a great hit out here as it's really fun playing with friends and family members. Fun game, but lots of gaps in the rules. This video doesn't mention Mr. White's win condition. Is he teamed up with the undercovers? Can he only guess the word when he is eliminated or at any time, or at the discussion/voting round? If he can try to guess at any time, he would be able to influence the undercovers if there's a majority. Clarification would be nice. :)

Thanks for your great comment, Jon! 😁👍 You're right the video doesn't contain everything. We tried to keep it short & simple. To answer your questions: 1- Mr.White is not teamed up with the Undercover(s) 2- He can guess the word at any time. However, he only gets one chance, so he should be really confident if he wants to come forward as Mr.White before getting eliminated. 3- You're right. In fact, in practice the guess should be typed by Mr.White in the app in secret, so as not to influence the others. Then the app will announce if (s)he was right or wrong Hope it helps & sorry for the late answer 😅

Correct? 2 - Good to know that Mr. White can only guess once. What happens if they get it wrong? In terms of table talk, is there a rule that nobody can flat out say what their word is or what they think another person's word is? So if the 2nd last Civilian gets eliminated, all remaining infiltrators (Mr.White and/or Undercover) win. 2- If Mr.White gets it wrong, they are eliminated from the current game, i.e. they stop participating in the subsequent description & voting phases until new words are picked. 3- Yes, there is a rule (mentioned in the Quest Quiz) that players can't say their own word out loud, anything else is allowed as long as it is related to their secret word. About your last question, there is no rule, we let players decide what they prefer 😊 Some like to limit descriptions to a single word, while others think a short sentence is fine... Cheers! 🎉

Recalling that each game results in different points for each team (a la Drawful), it would make sense that Mr. White can win with the Undercover team, but has more incentives to win by guessing the word right. I imagine if Mr. White guesses right, he wins, but the Undercover team doesn't share the glory or reward. Correct? Par contre il est possible et même recommandé de trouver des descriptions qui collent avec les 2 mots pour peuvent faire croire à l'équipe adverse que tu es avec eux.

Just one question which is not clear in the rules: what do you suggest to do when there's a draw following the voting? E.g. we are 7 and 2 players have 3 votes against them? According to the rules, you are not allowed to describe your word using something completely unrelated to your word, even if you guessed the word of the opposing team 👌 But if you know both words, it is still very useful since you can try to find descriptions that fit both words! 😉👍

What happen if the vote is balance? Can we said the secret word?

Hi Vico, if the vote is a draw, you can let the players with highest number of votes do a tie-break: each of them gives 1 more description, then remaining players vote again to eliminate 1 of them. It is forbidden to say your secret word as a clue. So if the other party say your word, you know that they are from another team 😉
