Other than a few standout pieces (like the bat backpack), I think Jun has definitely had stronger seasons. Miyashita on the other hand I really liked a lot of the stuff.

Doing all-over prints of screenshots from the film is the laziest possible design work. 2001 is my favourite film; to me such a shallow reuse of its imagery is a bastardisation of Kubrick's work.

Hey, I enjoyed both of these collections. I'm not sure I would call the undercover stuff commercial. That's a little harsh. My only problem with UC is that usually cut super small and I only ever see he diffusion stuff in stores, I never see any of he wild runway stuff.

You said that Undercover are going for a commercial collection. Do you really think that many of the pieces are that wearable? I found it a bit out there, I'd definitely wear some pieces, but some I could never pull off.

Very true. Comparing it to past UC menswear (especially menswear) it's pretty great. Look 2-10 or so are my favorites- really the whole thing wasn't overbearingly market-oriented. My disappointment was in the use of 2001 as just selling the movie's IP rather than digging deeper.
