As a cowboys fan I hated losing Kellen he was scapegoat for dak bad play but go no for those great game plans like against Tampa he made it easy for dak Herbert is going to excel
@kevinissler5388 Жыл бұрын
Agreed. Hopefully McCarthy does a good job calling plays. Dak's window for a Super Bowl run won't stay open forever.
@reeyadali8516 Жыл бұрын
I feel like kellen was tired of dak making the same mistake too and they’ve been together since romo days. Daks always played well against average defenses but when it’s a top 4 or 6 team that’s also a Super Bowl favorite , he can’t seem to convert or get down the field or throw the game away. Idk if he just doesn’t have the patience or is trash under pressure and only good for a few big plays. He’s got younger talent like burrow and hurtz come in and make the superbowl well Hurtz team was stacked but still, guys like herbet and burrow have that trigger in them that wins them games. I believe Justin will minimize mistakes and make dak look very mediocre. I love Dallas too but almost 8 years in he seems like a blessing and a curse. Defense is top 3 imo offense is loaded as usual. 7 years with that a consistent system great records in regular season but nothing to show for in the post. I really hope they can make it this year
@kazzd58 Жыл бұрын
Dude whaaaatttttt!!.. As a Cowboys fan who watches film you sir are misinformed .. Dak was not the scapegoat! KELLEN MOORE AND MIKE MCCARTHY DIDNT SEE THE GM THE SAME WAY!!! They clashed.. man this story been out in Dallas and social media.. Dallas is Super Bowl ready Kellen is still developing how to win games in the NFL! This is not College 🤷🏾♂️
@reeyadali8516 Жыл бұрын
@@kazzd58 kellen has won more than enough nfl games as OC under dak. Has nothing to do with seeing the Gm this way or that. It’s about playcalling and letting dak be wild with the ball double triple coverage he’s throwing the ball away late in games. First game without him they drop 40 on the giants. Moore doesn’t need anymore time he came with no solutions to the playoff drought only reason Dallas got there was cause they are too talented in the East to not make it out
@kazzd58 Жыл бұрын
@@reeyadali8516 it absolutely has to do with seeing the game a certain way… If a coach head coach at that, doesn’t want to run aggressive, option routes but your OC says F That I’m running it anyway, going three and out in 45 seconds after a great defensive stop… Kevin needs more experience. You don’t already messed up two Super Bowl squads… Kellen want the HC job but if you watch film there are nuances to Dak but hey it is what it is… You stay over there on the hate train for Dak.. I willl be over here watching Dak Win🤷🏾♂️ Could care less if he throw Dow 350 4 TDs.. Just win, Troy Aikman style …. Troy could throw for 350 but our team was so good he didn’t hv too🤷🏾♂️.. who cares what mainstream media thinks I got my own set of eyes…

This was a fantastic description of Kellen Moore offense. Loved it. However, you were totally wrong when you said the reason Herbert was throwing short last year was due to problems with the o-line. It was because the Lombardi scheme had every player running short routes. Herbert had a terrible o-line in his rookie year and he had no trouble throwing deep.

Kellen wasn't the winningest QB in collegiate history because of his athleticism. He made up for it with amazing pocket awareness (thought he was going to be sacked & he'd make a little shimmy and the defensive guy blew right past him), his quick release, his ability to really read a defense and his football IQ. Even one of UGA's DB's (on his way to the pros) said Kellen was the most frustrating QB he ever played against. He'd be staring the DB in the eyes and throw a dart, for a huge gain or TD, to the other side of the field. Kellen now has a cerebral QB, the playbook is going to be wide open & fun!!
