Ultimate 2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings (Top 31)

I used to be all for drafting a QB late and streaming the position, but the top 3 QBs are so far ahead when it comes to consistency and upside that they are easily worth the 3rd round price tag. It's such a convenience to have someone you can pencil in for 20+ points weekly, and can go for 30+ any given week. If you don't have a QB who can compete with them, you're behind the 8-ball whenever you play them.

@@daniekogivens5042 I would argue the top 5. Josh, Mahomes, Lamar, CJ and Jalen are mountains above Richardson, Dak and Kyler and potentially Burrow with his injuries and cold streaks. I "reached" for CJ in the 2nd round of my 14 team draft right behind Lamar and Jalen because of that drop-off, plus even though Stroud isn't a fantasy runner he could be the next Manning.

​@@christianmaas8934I personally feel like the tier 1 is Hurts, Mahomes, and Allen. Lamar offers the same weekly upside, but I've had him before and there's entirely too many games where he's only giving you 10-15 points. It won't be as pretty, but I feel like Kyler is slightly more consistent, just doesn't have the week winning 40+ that Lamar gives once or twice a year. I was a believer in Richardson last year, and trust me, all he has to do is stay healthy and he could literally break fantasy. I think Stroud is a stud in real life, I mean 5000+ yards and 35+ TDs is a possibility, but rushing real is the cheat code for fantasy QBs.

@@daniekogivens5042 Maybe it's unrealistic but I have a belief in Stroud with Collins, Dell, Diggs, Mixon, Akers and Schultz as a potential 2013 Manning broncos type offense for fantasy. As a Seahawks fan I always drafted wilson because of his running upside before relying on dual threats for fantasy was the norm, so I understand the upside, but I simply don't like Jalens cold streaks with passing and Lamars body type that he subjects to 1000 yard rushing seasons makes me second guess drafting him every time, which is also why I was cold on Jayden Daniel's this year. I witnessed my team end RGIIIs career, I'm not risking my fantasy chances on my star qb being rail thin with a kamikaze complex

@@christianmaas8934 The offense is stacked, and they pointed out how the Texans were a lot more pass heavy at the end of the season, so a ridiculous passing season is possible. Even with how crazy Peyton's 2013 season he averaged 25.6 PPG. In 2022 Hurts averaged the same PPG, with Mahomes averaging 25.2, and Allen averaging 24.2. You have to think just 40 yards rushing is the same as 100 yards passing, and you get 6 points for rushing TDs.. I learned a long time ago, draft the people you believe in though, so I wish you well this season.

I'm a Colts fan and I don't get the Richardson hype at all this year. Guy has to prove he can survive more than half a season before I'd invest that much in him. He's been injured everywhere he's played and already has a ton of injury mileage on his body just from last season alone with the multiple areas he got hurt. Didn't really show enough last year to justify the high rankings this season either. Geno Smith is about to have a season for the books this year, just have a good feeling about the Seahawks offense this year.

In home leagues this year I’m super comfortable just taking whatever QB is last or using the final 2 picks on 2 guys and seeing which one gets off to a hot start. Opportunity cost makes me want to just load up on as many skills player values as possible earlier

Richardson should be just ahead of Caleb and Jayden… In 6pts per passing td at least. The criticism of Caleb that it could start inconsistent has to apply to Richardson. Dude is basically a rookie with 17 starts since high school. We can’t project a couple good games over a season. Injury risk, inaccurate, we just don’t know if he is cam newton or trey lance. Wide range of outcomes is what I see. Too risky for qb 5.

One small note, I've heard Josh quote the Tua stat a couple times about being inside and outside the top 12 in per week scoring last year. Maybe I am misunderstanding but what is that stat trying to say? If it's highlighting spike weeks it almost sounds like it's meant to be like X weeks inside the top 10 and X weeks outside the top 20? Purdy was taken out of games early 10 times last year because he was still rehabbing his elbow until week 13. Add an extra 10 quarters of stats and he gets close to 5k yards and 40 tds.

Overrated wrs, Worthy is not good, Reid had to use trick plays to get him involved against vanilla defenses in the preseason. When defenses press him, he will get knocked on his @$$ like he did in training camp.(look it up) Rice will get suspended in week 13 when he has his sentencing right before fantasy playoffs. I just don't buy Anthony Richardson as a top 5 guy. How many touchdowns does he throw in this offense? How many 100 yard passing games does he have? If he had a full year I could understand the speculation. A 3800pyd, 700ryd, 28 total td (in 6pt per passing td), and 10 interceptions would be a really good year, but it probably isn't top 5. I also really like Stroud, but what separates him from Burrow and Prescott?

Jalen Hurts is the #1 QB, Josh Allen is #3 because he had 15 rushing TDs and there is no way anyone is doing that again. *checks 2023 Rushing TDs.... Jalen Hurts -15 I agree with Ray Davis being in a position to score some red zone carries. However: Josh Allen the last 4 seasons had 4 of the 20 best Fantasy Football seasons ever by a QB. The Bills also have a difficult schedule which may mean they have to attack more and they have a glaring weakness at safety (which means they may have to score more to keep up). Lastly; and maybe the biggest point for Allen: the Bills tried to not have him run last year (in the first half of the season). The single biggest change you saw in Game 1 with Joe Brady was designed QB runs. So Allen may have less TDs but could have more rushing yards. Even if he gives you the two prior year stats: 770 rushing 7 TDs that is almost what you expect out of Hurts (minus a few extra rushing TDs). Allen's passing numbers have been higher with him getting 8/9 more throwing TDs and more yardage too. You also don't know if Barkley sees more red zone touches too.

Jordan Love was literally a top 5 QB last year with a supporting cast of rookies on a team that struggled mightily half of the season. How is he not encroaching that elite tier? But we saw this with Keenan Allen as the 1 and Palmer as the 2 and he wasn’t start able at the end and seems to get weird injuries, I can’t buy in this year monkey’s gonna get bodied and Palmer isn’t a 12/14 target player is mid vs man coverage

I'm not a Carr superfan at all, but for superflex format purposes did you know that he has finished as a QB2 for every year of his career, including last year (QB16)? The Saints stink, their division stinks, and they're going to have a lot of garbage time yards. I think pairing Carr with like Goff/Stafford/Baker or a cheap young QB like Bo Nix, Bryce Young to fill in as your QB2 is a worthwhile strategy on win-now builds heavy on elite WRs and RBs.

Thats a crazy Pat Mahomes stat..As someone who had Ravens season tickets as a kid, this current WR group for the Ravens could be one of the worst WR groups of the last decade. Zay Flowers is TINY. He also spent a portion of the AFC Championship game CRYING on OBJs shoulder (everyones favorite cheerleader) after fumbling at the goal line when there was still time left in the game to redeem himself. Not exactly WR1 material at 5'8" on a good day. Bateman is AWFUL, and their GM cannot pick a first-round wide receiver if HIS LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. Bateman was INEXPLICABLY given an extension after doing NOTHING for no other reason than for Eric Decosta to try once again to TRICK the fanbase and the Ravens owner that he is not ALREADY A BUST as a pick and DeCosta did not ONCE AGAIN have NO IDEA what he is looking at when drafting WRs. TO no ones surprise, Bateman did nothing in camp this year and is constantly nursing an ailment. Nelson Agholor (spelling?) is capable of making a play or two but has been discarded by multiple teams in the few years he has been in the league. This UNC rookie was hurt all camp and there has been ZERO BUZZ surrounding him. Tylan Wallace has been there for a few years , makes a decent play in the preseason, but they have never given him the playing time to show what he can do. (He does have a decent college highlight tape tho haha) . AND FINALLY, Deonte Harty who is a kick returner. THATS IT. That is the WR room. At tight end, ANDREWS is SLOWWWWW now. He has done next to nothing since he monster season in a Greg Roman offense. Greg is not there anymore. ANDREWS is constantly hurt as well, and I read he was ONLY A TOP 5 TIGHT END in 3 of 9 games before an injury ended his SLUGGISH 2023 campaign. To me, Isaiah Likely is the LONE BRIGHT SPOT and could put up 900 yards and 10 TDs if Monken knows what he is doing. I ALSO LOVE King Henry but in terms of LAMAR as a top fantasy QB his WRs are doing him no favors. IMAGINE what LIKELY would do in an ANDY REID OFFENSE if KELCE retired this year. LIKELY has been CRIMINALLY UNDERUSED in BMORE and if I were him, I would want to go somewhere that USED ME THE RIGHT WAY. Thanks for the video!
