I've been a Broncos fan for life. I feel so lucky that he was our QB for 4 years. That final year, the Super Bowl season, was incredibly difficult and incredibly humbling for Peyton. He was dealing with an extremely painful injury that affected his performance. Gary Kubiak pulled him from the lineup and put him away from the spotlight so that he could heal and recover. He came back at halftime during the final game of the season to lead the team back to victory. The rest is history, but he had the worst statistical season of his career that year. I remember Gary Kubiak saying after the Super Bowl how incredibly proud he was of Peyton. That stuck with me. Peyton was humbled, he dealt with physical and mental pain, and when he came back, he knew he had to be a game manager so that the team could win it all. That's more amazing to me than the record season. That's why he's one of the greatest to ever take the field.

Peyton has always been my 2nd favorite quarterback behind Marino and. I never knew how much Peyton liked marino until recently. Peyton is definitely a first class football player and person. My favorite game was the 5th game of the 1999 season when the Dolphins played the colts in Indianapolis. The old man showing the Young gun how it's done. Much respect Peyton 🤘🏻✌🏼👊🏻

I’d like to thank 2012 Peyton for helping me have the greatest qb rotation ever in fantasy, we were a league where you got to keep one player from the season before and I had cam newton, I picked up Brady late and since it was mannings first year in Denver I got him with my last pick. Manning, Brady, Newton, I was unstoppable.
@brandonbrooks8983 ай бұрын
In 2013, due to a technical glitch during the draft, I ended up with Manning and brady. Debated all week who to start that week, and went with brady. Brady had like 1 td and not many yards, peyton...7 touchdowns... And I lost when I would have dominated had I started manning. And that game loss kept me from making the playoffs. Still upsets me to this day lol

I love how Peyton says, "My goals and your goals are not the same, buddy!" when a fan complained he did not throw enough touchdowns when they won 10-7. Players could care less about Fantasy Football as they play to win the game - not win with stats for any fan's fantasy team. Talk about ridiculous.

Geez, I thought I was an original FF player 35 years ago, when I had never heard about it before then, nor did anyone I knew. 1963? Crazy! We used to have to wait until the next day's box scores to add up who won, and there was only one format -- standard of course. Computers were the greatest FF gift ever, then came the internet. All drafts in-person and those clips were so spot on!

Kings X is now a Tiki Bar called the Kona Club - Enjoyed many a drink when it was Kings X as well as the Kona!
