The thing that makes Jackson's so hard is that it requires two different skills that each take a lot of practice. Finding the note is relatively easy; it's the note that comes from the glass when you strike it. But you need to sustain that note perfectly--which requires good pitch--and you need to sustain it for a considerable length of time, which requires good breath control. You can take breaths, but the situation is like climbing a downward escalator; the more you stop, the more you'll have to do. It would be like if Jordan's task was to spin the basketball fast enough that it broke.
