just an idea but you might try running some of the cleaning mat between your catches....like the gold hog stuff specifically.

normal sluice's run from between 1k to 5k Gal per min flow, how dose this compare to that?

1k means, 1 thousand, The UnderFlow prototype in this video is 5 inch wide, designed just for video purpose. and had a recircuating setup with a 1000 Gallon Per Hour pump to opperate. (& was some what restricted with a valve) Im trying to understand how a normal sluic can do 1K to 5K per minute? or did you mean per hr.?

There is no need for any rubber matting or miners moss in these units. Once you see the UnderFlow work and capture the super fine particles of Gold, you will understand there is truly no need for any addition to the UnderFlow.
