In this video, I will explore Montreal's Underground City in Downtown Montreal, Québec, Canada. I filmed this video on January 9, 2024 with DJI Pocket 2. Underground City (French: La ville souterraine), is the name applied to a series of interconnected office towers, hotels, shopping centres, residential and commercial complexes, convention halls, universities and performing arts venues that form the heart of Montreal's central business district, colloquially referred to as Downtown Montreal. 00:00 Montreal Central Station / Gare Centrale de Montréal 04:10 Access to Place Ville Marie 04:40 Place Ville Marie 09:30 Eaton Centre 17:50 Place Montreal Trust 20:05 Carrefour iA 21:45 Les Cours Mont-Royal

@@mikedisenhouse6659 💯 agree: safe access to rooftop pool where one can swim in a semisauna environment while it's single (Fahrenheit) digits outside ... a rooftop deck where one can watch sunset, twilight and nightfall with a (non-alcoholic) bevvie and a blanket in case it turns cool on the chaise lounge ... a delish deluxe Continental brekkie that one can carry on a tray (including an extra plate of goodies to nosh on later or for a picnic at Parc Lafontaine or Mont-Royal) up to one's room ... a guaranteed balcony attached to the living room (yes!❤️) ... a kitchenette equipped with a fridge WITH freezer compartment WITH ice tray; a microwave AND stovetop oven; a sink WITH drying rack and dish-cleaning supplies; a toaster (😁); a cabinet with microwave-safe dishes, bowls and coffee/teacups AND salt & pepper shakers. I love L'Appartement hotel so much, and I'm already looking forward to going back. It has location, location, location and yet affordable rates; a Jean-Coutou, 24/7 Couche-Tard and Provigo just two blocks away and an IGA a hop-skip-&-a-jump away; subway entrances three blocks away; and an entrance to Mont-Royal a brief hike away. I really, really want to try other hotels as I was doing when first visiting Montréal, but this hotel has spoiled me with its charm, rooftop pleasures, courteous staff and easy access to shopping, movie theaters (on Avenue Parc and on Ste-Catherine) and ... festivals central in le Quartier des Spectacles. Magnifique!
