That moment around 3:56 where everything just stops for a second.. So typical Jeff Mills.. Seen him do that on his 909 live many times, one of my all-time heroes!

Greatest Techno track of all time. There's harder, there's faster, there's deeper, there's better made....but this absolute fucking MONSTER will always, always tear any dance floor a new arsehole and have the common courtesy to give you a reach around. Fucking masterpiece!

So so good sounds exactly like its supposed to: "Somewhere in the depths of our vast seas lurks the seaman's most feared nightmare, Seawolf. A German U-Boat of destruction and mayhem for all who dare to cross it's path. Underground Resistance warns you of Seawolf." On The Run Out etched "Terror from Below".... Part 2, and Jeff Mills's contribution to the classic World Power Alliance series - pounding adrenalin heart, that 303 circling, coming in closer, you think its going to bite, but it changes direction in the last minute, circles again and then comes the attack....this menaces with restrained aggression followed by an all out mauling...over and over again. Love it :)

This is fucking kick ass.... play this to anyone who says all techno sounds the same..... This is one of the most ruthless songs ever made. UR and Detroit are filled with heavy hitters!!! What I like is the versatility of Detroit Techno... you can hear a heavenly symphonic song then you have songs that are almost on a Demonic level. Either way BEST music in the UNIVERSE.
This is super-clever in terms of the music design, track title, and themes. One of the best.

I remember making a tape loop of this track, cutting off the right earplug on some shitty earphones, and threading the left down my jumper sleeve so I could listen to it during French lessons in secondary school. The 3:57 mark blows my head off every time. 357 Magnum? Nah... probably just a coincidence. I can't wait to be an 80 year old granddad sitting in my favourite chair throwing this dirty shit out to my confused grandson/granddaughter... seeing their bright, inquisitive faces looking up at me and saying "granddad... seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you?!" Hahaha....

X-101 lost was the fucking best, last Saturday of the month at the Vox in Brixton....those were the days my friend, was good when it moved to the Arches in Vauxhall too. the early/ mid nineties were technos heyday....the late eighties was fantastic and aciieed, but the nineties had the sophistication. feel sorry for kids today.....I mean what music culture do they have...just sanitised dross.

yo zogster, they used to be known as the techno gods didnt they? i know i went to a few dance planet raves at plymouth in 93 with THE TECHNO GODS plastered all over them. thats mad, ive never heard him drop a breakbeat track in a set? even when he played at my little backwater town of great grimsby bk on new years eve 91-92(11-1am,2hr set)he didnt? im not a fan of breakbeat either guy,and dont really like breakbeat slipped into techno mixes despite the sample etc although 2 cats that always pulled that shit off seamlesly and with great, less circulated tracks were THE TECHNODREAD EASY BAD-BOY GROOVE AND THE 3 DECK WIZARD MR CARL COX.
