I use this sweep, the details are important for sure….if only to speed up the process. I did land it on some higher belts that never saw it before. I will use a bicep punch to pummel for the under hook if rolling won’t work. I just rolled someone right off me tonight that didn’t post….didn’t want to give up that under hook. I feel like it’s an under-utilized sweep cause most white and blues at my club don’t do it.

Coach why do I keep getting mounted when I get the underhook to escape? I bridge w the underhook n it creates space btw my hip n armpit n they throw their leg over as I try to escape. Extremely frustrating. I usually don’t hv trouble getting the underhook.

This is great! I do have a question. Everytime I hit the double underhook from side, I get hit with an Ezekiel choke. Can you elaborate how to handle that situation? Fighting for the half-butterfly seems to take longer than them hitting the Ezekiel on me.
