It amazes me how this guy can hit the drums that hard and still sing without sounding like he's trying to catch his breath.

The Legends say that Aaron Gillespie has to have his drum kit relplaced entirely after every song. At the end of the gig the back stage looks like a grave yard for drums. Even the hard reinforced titaium cymbols need some counsiling after every set, but most of them never recover. Underoath might be known as a christian band but Aaron Gillespie himself. Is a demon on the skins. Moral of the story is... Never leave your drum kit unattended or it is said to summon the Demon named Aaron. And your kit will be nothing but dust when you return.

Not true. No way he destroys the entire drum set. He ain’t Moonie the Loonie my dude whom actually blew up his drum set on stage. To the point of it being not cool. This guy here, is the closest I’ve heard anyone get close to the “Bonham Grease” I love this guy as much as my wife when we we’re married… You want THE BEAST? Summon ELOY Casagrande’, His cover of “People=Shit” is UNTOUCHABLE, don’t even go there not even with this guy, there’s double kick and a very difficult style to cop--Joey Jordison❤️🔥 I’d love to hear Aaron play drums with Jimmy Page’y & John Paul Jonesy’ performing: “Misty Mountain Hop” and then right into “The Wanton Song”. Hell yeah dude’s!!!!
@jaykafcas43422 жыл бұрын
And never let anyone else play your drum kit but yourself. Everybody strikes differently. Do you want some meathead dude pounding on your $400 cymbals or breaking in your snare?? And equally important, is other players will move around your set-up and fuc* with the adjusters etc, THAT PISSES ME OFF & biligerant cracking of the edges of my cymbals. ARGH!!!!

Noah Samuel define better ? Aarons grooves are way more intresting and inovative ? Also reminder he sings at the same time, this takes a lot of skill... Also Connor hits a bit less hard and he seems to have a more dynamicly smooth groove but his grooves and fills are very linear...

Adam Burchett Good thing that's your opinion. How does it not sound good?
@hearingaidguy69807 жыл бұрын
lol I don't know. I guess I just like the way his old Truth kits sounded better. The snare is ok but the toms are eh. and you can never go wrong with meinl. The Remo heads have a little bit to do with it as well. I prefer evans
@kyazma7 жыл бұрын
Adam Burchett 100% agree.... The truth kits sounded larger, meatier, and deeper to my ears....

He switched because he does other styles of music now too, and truth is only alright for heavy stuff. Also his Gretsch USA custom sounds lightyears better.
