Never realized this when I first listened to it but some lyrics from this song are on a old rare underoath shirt, the lyrics “this great disaster romance” are on a shirt with like a picture of a girls face on it, pretty cool

Sounds like the album cover for "they're only chasing safety". Honestly from listening to Maylene, I think Dallas would've fit in with UO's newer style. After all, The Changing Of Times kinda lead UnderOath into the style they are right now.

i noticed the songs on these early demos have a lot of cleaner guitars and Dallas’ screams sound really restrained, he’s not like going full power into it like he does on The Changing of Times. my conclusion: you can really tell they were trying to figure out how to get that accessible commercial sound on this stuff

I'm genuinely interested cause these are awesome to finally hear haha

@@DaveXXX This guy posted a pic of the demo on /r/Underoath that had "SDII" written on it and the track titles. He also has a CD of TOCS radio edits too. We think SDII stands for Studio Demo II, meaning there is probably more demos. I don't know anything more, my guess is that the guy who produced the first 4 LPs leaked em. Also, these are likely demos and not finished works. Finally, there were two shirts made for these unreleased songs. One had a lyric from this song and another has "It All Breaks In Time". That plus Coryn's Defeat are the two big missing songs and likely on SD1. There might be more, I guess you could comb through live videos to get a clue on what was finished.
