I just finished building my Gisa the hellraiser deck, so now i get to see how someone else built her! Nice! *edit* i definitely went a slightly different direction, the zombies Gisa creates are rogues, so cards like oona's blackguard can really lock down games if you stick it before you start your crime spree.

Hell ya, I've had a Gisa the Hellraiser deck for a hot minute and I have some deck tech advice. Thespian Stage, Land. 2mana, tap it, copy target land. One Cabal Coffers is good, but two is better. Blasting Station, a 3mana artifact. Sac a creature to deal 1damage to creature or player. Untaps when a creature enters the battlefield (yes, this means it auto untaps with Gisa on the field, once per turn). Attrition, 1 and 2black enchantment. Pay 1black, sac a creature, destroy target nonblack creature. Attrition is sooo good in this. Netting you +1 zombie and removing any problem creatures. It's almost a wincon on it's own. If you really wanna spike this in power level (and cost) combo it with a gravepact and watch your opponents cry.

So, while I like Magic the Gathering, I first noticed the Kingdom Hearts Gameplay in the background. Just wanted to point that out. Aside from that, thanks for the video. Maybe do something green next time (my favorite color)

I've got no current intention to build another Zombie swarm or for that matter another Mono-Black deck (way too many decks already) but this is a cool design. Pretty fond of the Gisa cards in general. I haven't been playing as much or paying as much attention for the last few years of sets. Feed the Swarm is a card that had completely flown under my radar, it's a shockingly good common removal spell and one of only a handful of Mono-Black enchantment killers. Budget Commander is a neat approach, I usually don't bother because as long as I'm not playing for a prize I don't care if people use proxies but it's a cool restriction.

I love this! I actually have a Red Crime deck with Magda, the Hoardmaster. Did you know there are a lot of small, cheap, red creatures that can tap to give haste to any target creature? Did you know giving an opponents creature Haste at the end of their turn is a crime and gives them no benefit? Profit into a Scorpion Dragon adopting problem... a problem for my opponents, not me, clearly =3

I built this deck when it first came out, but I was in a phase of deck building where I didn't want to build things the way they look like they should built. So I made this with zero zombies in the deck. Just skeletons and crime

How messed up is black mana? Every couple years, they put out a rare black enchantment that dominates standard to the point where they have to ban some of the most sought-after, rare, and pricey cards in standard. Don't believe me? Slip a Necropotence or Yawgmoth's Bargain into a commander deck and see what happens?
