Just boost your volume a little [edit: mostly 250hz, 450Hz, 650hz and 1.25Hz!] = I use FXSound a software to boost volume on a laptop when it's not high enough.... and at max boost you are barely at 30%... other youbute videos explode the spearkers qhen I swap between them. Check you gain on the microphone. Excellent sound quality, just not loud enough.

Dude. I have like 75% of these cards and love mono black. Been playing it for years even before commander. I love this strat you have. Also Sheoldred the Whispering one and Abhorrent Overlord on the field together is my favorite token producing combo. Its costly but fun. Gotta have a Gary in every devotion deck. Flickering him in with Sheoldred is another upkeep combo that's fun. I had to subscribe so i can see what else you come up with. Now i gotta go snoop through your channel. Peace dog

Love the list bro, as I am a huge fan of mono black decks. Out of the four I have, toshiro umezawa and syr konrad are my favorites. A devotion deck would be a fun new strategy for me, and you also gave me the idea for a mono black superfriends with the planeswalkers you have in the list.

I really liked the idea of the deck but as a Commander i would go with K'rrik. Its a 3 black peep Commander and you can have it out on Turn 4 using 6 lifes, it has Lifelink and it will be bigger and bigger as the game goes on.

definitely a solid choice due to the cost reduction! I just opted for commanders that had card draw in the command zone to help the deck play more consistently. I feel like K'rrik is better for turbo strats rather than a long slog.

My sheoldred deck has been my mono black deck for awhile and Its been too strong and i have a teysa karlov deck thats been too weak you just gave me the option to deel with both issues by scrapping the white and just taking the pieces together lol idk why i didnt think of it but thanks this should be fun to try at commander night

Nice vid! I'm playing braids and i'd love to focus the deck into sacrifice. My question is, why Kokusho, junji or grave pact are not on the list? Is a matter or budget or simply you don't like them? Thanks!

Toxic deluge is good removal too as a board wipe. And phyrexian obliterator has 4 pips and is a great card .

While not exactly mana efficient I find altar of the pantheon a good add to any devotion deck for that extra devotion it gives

i recommend Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, or Whisper, Blood Liturgist and aiming to do more of a "sacrifice for value" or "reanimator" style deck instead. There are not enough devotion cards available to black, though there are three really good ones, to make a proper "devotion to black" or really any other single color right now.

Seems like Crypt Ghast is also a shoe-in here, no? Rain of Filth / Bubbling Muck less so, but it lets you use one of your explosive spells much earlier. I’m also a big Plague of Vermin fan here. Though it might be too powerful for this list if you’re running Ayara in the command zone.

I would, you can still run it as a "mono black" deck due to the 0 casting cost.
