“Character Actors” or supporting actors can make or break a movie! Harry Dean Stanton, William Farnsworth & Strother Martin & LQ Jones will make me stop what I’m doing to watch what ever they’re in!

Perhaps 'lesser known' might be a more appropriate description of these great supporting characters (though Ned Beatty, Strother Martin and M. Emmet Walsh might be better known than some others). Of course, to fans of this genre they're likely all familiar, but I agree to the general public they would not be as well known, at least by name (their voice/features may ring a bell).
