Billy is the herotic ICON - as 'that sailor hat and tie' remain in place from action sequence to action sequence - It really does have 'the laws of physics' of a comic book world 📖 🌎 FABULOUS!

Per IMDB, Ray 'Crash' Corrigan first appeared as an ape in Tarzan the Ape Man (1932) and had appeared in several films prior to this, his first credited role. He would continue to act and do stunts in several dozen 'B' pictures and serials through 1958. He owned Corriganville, his own 1,500 acre 'movie ranch' at the west end of the the Santa Susana Pass between the San Fernando and Simi Valleys, where well over three thousand westerns and other films were shot over a period from 1937 onward. From the mid 1950s through early 1960s he opened Corriganville to the public as a quasi amusement park where he also lived and made frequent public appearances. Corriganville was purchased by Bob Hope in 1965 before the City of Simi Valley acquired 190 acres of it in 1988 which has become Corriganville Park.

I've watched this a few times and realized we never see much of Atlantis. Except for rulers and soldiers. Where are the farmers, workers, wives and children? Not a mention. I guess its better we not go there as everyone drowns when Atlantis get flooded.

@PizzaFLIX2 жыл бұрын
The opening sequence for PizzaFLIX Serial Marathons is edited from Barney Oldfield's Race for a Life (1913). Mabel Norman is the Damsel in Distress. The character portrayed by Ford Sterling in black clothing, top hat, and handlebar mustache became the Archetype Cartoon Villain particularly Oil Can Henry/Mighty Mouse, and of course Snidely Whiplash/Dudley Do-Right.

The most annoying little kid in movie history is in this one. You kept waiting for him to get killed, but Crash always saved him, doggone it. Also, how bad a role can an actress get? Diane never gets to change her costume and it seems her only lines are, once in each chapter, she chirps out "This'll be a great story for my paper!" And John Merton actually plays a good guy for once.
