Not a cop but I was dating a crazy chick. She lied about me assaulting her, so I was in jail at the time. But she stole my uncles dog carrier. He called the cops. Cop arrived and proceeded to arrest her. Well, attempt to arrest her. He begins fighting with her, trying to handcuff her. 30 minutes later, dispatch calls because the officer never said he was leaving the scene. My aunt tells dispatch the cop has been fighting the suspect for 30+ minutes. More officers come flying in. TLDR Crazy chick thought she couldn't be arrested because it made her feel uncomfortable. She got tazed 4 times and wrestled 4 cops for 2 hours.

Edit: I really appreciate the odd wholesome (ish) one in the mix, like the one where the dude was hurrying his wife to the hospital, and though OP was injured and his car badly damaged, at least it wasn't a case of a horribly irresponsible and/or intoxicated person.
@KaiHenningsen4 ай бұрын
I might challenge the "not horribly irresponsible" claim. The guy did not only endanger other people in traffic but also his own wife, by driving like that.

@@knowwhoiamyet I agree. It's partly excusable under the circumstances, because panic primarily. Maybe drivers should familiarize themselves with the rules for driving an ambulance. @edi98922 ай бұрын
It should be noted that some people survive crazy things and this can result in some quite crazy s-i-de scenes. Also, many quick tests are easy to fool as they all use shortcuts, unlike some other, more expensive lab tech. One guy apparently shot himself in the chest and head, but his aim was off, which resulted in him blowing one of his eyes out. He then threw the gun away and walked up a hill and climbed the many stairs of a tower on it. He then jumped off it and finally succeeded in his mission... It was originally investigated as a potential murder scene, but the blood and fingerprints spoke a different story... The other story that stuck in my mind was of an arrested assassin. He refused to talk about his clients and the first moment he wasn't under surveillance in prison, he apparently managed to secure an entire bottle of bleach which he drank all up and hanged himself. As if that wasn't enough, he used a shard to slit both his arms. As a side note: his family was under surveillance and after his death, they received a letter of condolence and suddenly monthly payments came in, with the expressed purpose of supporting the widow and the education of the children. The money could be traced back to an Italian organized crime syndicate, but it couldn't be proven that any of it was earned illegally, which meant that the money kept coming. What makes it remarkable is that the assassin nor his family were of Italian descent.

9:48, story 8: the dog probably did want to play. All the best dogs with jobs (service dogs, police dogs, search and rescue etc) are carefully selected for temperament and trained so that they LOVE their job. A dog that gets stressed or worked up when performing its tasks, especially the kinds of tasks police dogs do, will not do those tasks well and will be hard to control in the heat of a moment. A dog that thinks this is all a fantastic game and finds the work fulfilling will be excellent working dogs. I could go on about this for a long time because its a fascinating topic, but even like drug sniffing dogs if they don't find drugs for a while will get discouraged and sad. A lot of times cops will plant drugs, or at least the training chemicals, for the dog to find so it can feel good about a job well done. Moral of the story: that dog was probably having the time of its life when it got a free toy from its target.

Story 44 - the story of the old lady self-unaliving. It's really not a mystery. The black liquid fits the description of partially digested blood from a large bleed in the stomach. It probably bled then refluxed up and back down into her lungs because she was lying flat. Then, with the CPR her chest essentially turns into a disgustingly filled open balloon that you're squeezing with each pump. At a guess she committed an OD with her prescription meds, and blood thinners and anti-inflammatories are very common, and old people stomachs are very fragile. Sad stuff :(
