Hi, welcome to ShuoshuoChinese 说说中文; my name is Shuo, I’m a native Chinese teacher living in Bangkok, Thailand, I’ve been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for more than 10 years and I’m also a language learner.
In this channel, I will upload a weekly video, in which I talk about Chinese vocabulary, Chinese grammar, Chinese culture, Chinese stories with pinyin and the English translation for listening practice.
With my channel, you can easily start to learn and understand complicated Chinese grammar, sentence structure, and differences/nuances between similar Chinese words.
If you are a Chinese beginner, I’m planning to upload videos about what Chinese language is, how it differs from English, Chinese pronunciations, Chinese characters and Chinese stroke sequences and a mini Chinese course, (10 minutes per day), which can help you learn quickly and easily. Don’t miss it!
So, subscribe to my channel and start your Chinese learning journey!

Related to the second example: 他的工作经验非常丰富 I think there is a common expression: 积累丰富的经验 ("to accumulate a lot of experience") The interesting thing here is that this 累 (lěi "accumulate") is different from the usual 累 (lèi "tired").

Although I got all test sentences correct, it was still helpful to get the explanation. I just had the feeling which one sounded right without exactly knowing why it was the correct choice.

Great explanation! I think i understand now. 经历 = to go through, something one goes through 经验 = something one goes through and learns from (gains through the experience), the knowledge you have having gone through the experience. 体验 = to immerse in. Not just go through the experience but be a part of it is the best way i can describe this one to myself. 我小时候要体验当护士。我有当护士的经历。因为我当了十年的护士了,所以有非常多经验。 Would this be correct?

Hi there, can you please explain the concept of "缘" in english? I looked up the official translate is "fate", however, I don't feel that really grasp the full concept of it. for e.g , i found your video maybe we have some sort of 缘份 therefore I see you, but if you put it english, we have some fate, there fore i see you, don't seem to make sense. hope it make sense.

If you want to emphasize your emotional state, could you say in the last sentence 体验了那件事以后,我再也不相信他了 ? I actually think that the process of not trusting someone has to go through an emotional challenge. Thats why I would have firstly thought of 体验 instead of 经历

Good question, think about the “put yourself there as an experiment “ part, 经历了那件事以后,我再也不相信他了。Is more like you passively passed that matter, not actively put yourself there to feel and experience.

Besides 体验 I think there is also 体验到 which implies that the experience made a personal impact on you. In that case, perhaps we could say: 体验到了那件事以后,我再也不相信他了。
