It's easy to feel that life keeps dealing you the same bad hand of cards over and over. Sometimes it seems like no matter how hard you work, negative patterns continuously creep back into your life. When these harmful tendencies have been passed down through generations, we may label them generational cycles or even "curses." These cycles don't have to be supernatural; they can encompass all sorts of damaging patterns like limiting beliefs, addictions, relationship difficulties, poor financial habits, and so on.
We have to remember, people in previous generations often didn't have the same level of awareness or the abundance of resources we do today. They struggled, made mistakes, and unknowingly planted seeds for recurring issues in future generations. This does not mean our ancestors were bad people; it just means they lacked the tools and knowledge that could have broken those cycles.
Let's delve deeper into the process of understanding and ultimately healing from generational trauma.

I am 4th generation of broken families, full of adultery, lies, and manipulation. Heck it could go back further than that. We are not our families. If it is your desire to maintain your personal family than cherish them, respect and listen to them. Guide them with compassion and consistency. Let them see your strengths as well as your weaknesses and let them know that they give you strength and that you need them. Wow tears come to my eyes as I say this because I can only imagine what that would have been like. I have moved 54 times and my husband and I bought a house in May where we hope to foster and adopt. To have the opportunity to establish roots and the possibility of having a family is something I never thought possible. Through my devotion and servitude to pur Creator I know that anything amd everything is possible through consistency, adaptability, patience, and hard work. God is all, and all is God, we are expressions of the Source with free will playing out the infinite possibilities. Light and love to you my divine family

This video was amazing. There are so many people from my generation that recognize these problems but instead of trying to resolve them, they become aggressive towards their families, cut off ties, and just don't have children themselves to 'break the cycle'. There is a movement that encourages that among younger people, and it's devastating seeing the effect it has on families. I have struggled with this my entire life, I know. This video does a great job of explaining the proper approach and the other side of the coin. People need to assume responsibility. If you have the capacity to realize the problem, you have the capcity to solve it, to make the situation better. Thank you so much for this video!

Well said, we often judge and help others before we think of ourself.

I have no one to share this with the people who are here listening to this incredible video and that is a few days ago I was at the park walking my dog and it was very early and there was absolutely no one around and I didn’t see anybody and then out of nowhere This woman walked up to me and she had blonde hair but she was old and it was braided and she had a wooden staff in her hand and she called her walking cane but it wasn’t the cane. It was huge. She was tall and she was wearing colorful garments, and it just didn’t seem real, but it was extremely comforting and all I felt was love I can’t even remember the conversation because inside of me and inside of my soul, I felt like this was an angel that came to me. She asked me about my dog and told me that my dog was beautiful and I can’t remember the conversation because I didn’t believe that this was a person of this earth And I know that it may sound crazy to some people but I didn’t feel that way. I felt just love and she kept saying to me well I can’t stand here. I have to keep moving on. I have to keep walking and I didn’t want her to go and I felt like I was visited by either someone That I lost or maybe a spirit guide but I can’t stop thinking about this person and I go to the same spot every day with my dog hoping that she’ll come back. I don’t know how that relates to this video but I understand every single thing that this video is trying to convey because it’s what I’m experiencing right now and then I have a daughter who I love dearly who I am disconnected from because I’m healing and she still back Where I was… I have essentially disconnected from most of my family members because I seem to be the only one who is healing, and I don’t even relate to them anymore. I just don’t have anything in common with my own blood family. It’s like I’m a different person but in a good positive way, but at the moment it’s a feeling of grief and loss and I know that where I’m headed it is to a better place with better relationship and healthier people in my life but for now while I’m in transition and I’m healing I’m very much feeling alone even though I know I am not…

My brother Wisdom I am wishing you are well. You help me. This video especially. My background only comprises of darkness. However, for some reason that darkness never encompassed me. Through the darkest of times I've always had my heart with people. No matter what, the subtleties I see and the words I then choose to say to always make others feel okay. A simple gift from God. A man dreaded in darkness yet somehow continues to love. God is amazing. Thank you my friend. I owe you a firm handshake.

Thank you. I think your advice is useful not only with one’s own lineage but when observing other families such as in laws. Important when raising your children in these environments so that you can stop them inadvertently picking up other generational issues, or at least try.

My mother committed suicide with drugs and her mother hung herself, both in their 30's. Here I am, 35 years of age and it feels like the world constantly pushes me to end up like my mother and grandmother. I keep fighting but the more I fight the harder the world fights back, is there really a way to escape my destiny?

I don’t believe killing yourself is your destiny, I think living your life to its fullest is. The world is always going to fight back, but you can make it less of an impact. What are you grateful for? Animals, mobility, sunshine, nature? Or how about the little things, warm bed, a smile when you are funny, a nice breakfast? Try to find three things a day that you are grateful for, then focus on that. Then you make it through another day, be thankful for the rest you will have after a long day. But you have to take everything one day at a time, that is living your destiny, and that is how you begin

God is in control and He refuses to allow me to follow the generational cycle manifested in my mother. Like Isaiah and Joseph, I am the restoration of the lineage and inheritance from the wrongdoing of a parent. God had me raised by my grandmother, for that I am eternally grateful. I choose to keep Him in my heart and soul, forgiving others as God forgives me. He has a plan and purpose for my life and their plans will never be as great as His plans for me.

True. Experiencing my family taught me to use ho oh ponpono, yes it helps but it doesn't dissolve it . Not sure how to explain it but you'll never change them,so don't try. I think I just said what you said but different? Lol,in my family I am the escape goat so I'm working a little hard so to speak. Love your commentary.

In 2024, don't set new year financial goals without consulting a financial adviser. there expertise ensure a solid plan for success. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regular putting money away in intervals for solid investments.
