You so often do this, Alan. I read your books, listen to your talks, and I go back and forth, sometimes wanting to argue with you, wanting to say “but what about…?“ And then you come through with the perfect moments where you knock out all my defenses. In this video it’s the ending, starting about eight minutes in. And nice editing and music, too, to help make the point. “Nobody wants just to go on. One wants to go on in an elegant way.”

Joggers exercise in order to get fit. There is a point for everything in the Universe or World. It's not just randomness. Which is why you do not go with the flow? Yes, sometimes the thing people call the flow finds you -- I call it inspiration. And there is a great saying, inspiration has to find you working. Life is responsibility. Your circumstances are determined by your decisions and actions. Going with the flow will lead you in circles -- you have to be intentional about all that you do with a point for your actions. Loved Allan Watts as a young man and I believed him wholeheartedly -- this does not work in life.
