I think this is an important topic but on the flip side it’s difficult to find support like mentors for our sons who are taking care of by single mothers, it’s even difficult to find a ride to the masjid during Ramadan because the Communities don’t offer help or assistance. For example: Does anyone need help?, There are kids who need academic tutoring but where are the Muslim volunteers?Theres always campaigns for asking, but where are the campaigns for giving assistance to families in need. It’s not necessarily about money but time and services needed in one’s own communities. We need to do more to help our own communities.

In Turkey we have great example. They lost khilafa around 100 years ago and distanced themselves from Islam a bit and within 50 years all Islam evaporated and now we meet Turkish Muslims in Germany and fail to identify them as they don't look or do anything even distantly related to Islam. May Allah protect each one of us. 30-35 years ago the argument was if it's mandatory to wear skull cap while offering namaz now in USA we are struggling to convince teenagers to wear proper clothes and don't turn up for namaz wearing shorts or Bermuda. If Muslims continue to take pride in criticizing their scholars then be ready to meet same fate as that of Turkey where having 700 years of ottoman rule could not retain Islam for more than 50 years imagine what will happen in western countries.
