Embark on a new frontier of AI with Lesson 3 of the "Understanding AI" course! In this lesson, I'll guide you through the process of expanding our neural network's capabilities by introducing multiple outputs. We'll transition from a single output to managing two, and eventually, four outputs, enabling the network to command the car to move in various directions.
Fear not if you're not familiar with advanced terminology - I'll simplify the concepts for you. What we're implementing here is known as a multilabel neural network, distinct from the multiclass neural network covered in my previous machine learning course: • Machine Learning Course
Unlike a multiclass network, our new creation can simultaneously instruct the car to go forward and left, opening up exciting possibilities.
Join me in this engaging session as we break down the barriers of neural network outputs, explore practical applications in car navigation, and delve into the nuances of multilabel networks. Whether you're a beginner or have some AI experience, this lesson is designed to broaden your understanding and empower you to navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence. 🚗🧠

thanks for your advice, just removed brakes from my car so car can decelerate on its own. gas prices are thru the roof here. I do appreciate this visual approach, it helps me understand that networks aren't really smart but rather use conditions to when go/stop/turn. Almost like a video that keeps the ball on the plate (The Octo-Bouncer)

Sure, but we also do the same things... React in some way based on some input. Sometimes it's more obvious, like... if you get a bad grade, then you study more, or you decide to ditch school :-D I guess it depends on upbringing and other things... but even though we have a lot of inputs / variables, we still make decisions based on them. We just call it 'gut instinct' sometimes because there are so many things going into a decision that we can't even begin to list them all... So 'smart' could mean... how many things are we able to take into consideration when making a decision? Anyway, if the neural network is built automatically, it feels 'smart' because we can't really tell why it's doing something, but if you would break it down like this somehow, and really inspect it's components, you can figure out exactly what you did... the conditions that create the behavior.

This may be out of topic but i'm curious, Do you believe in free will?
@greedykira
@greedykira 3 ай бұрын
I used to. Now, I believe that everything I have ever done, am doing now, and will ever do; everything I do is based on some event that happened previously, and out of my control. How do I have free will if every event in life is all out of my control? If I had free will, I would have lived in the woods as a hermit until I died a natural death.

Difficult question and I'm not very comfortable with my answer, but... I think that we react to things all the time. Whatever happens around us, or inside us makes us do one thing or another and the result would always be the same under the same stimuli. But... there are so many variables in play that we cannot even imagine them all, so, deciding to do one thing or another feels like my decision to make :-\

Does anyone know how to play with the weights and bias values? I cannot change any of the values to experiment.

It should work with the mouse scroll wheel. Or double swipe up the touch pad. Plus/minus keys also work when you hover the node / weight.

Radu, have you ever thought of opening a paid learning platform as if it were a university to learn everything about AI, etc...? 🙏🏻

I think something like that would need to be 'curriculum based' and quite comprehensive. I prefer to make fun things where we practice various topics ranging from coding to logic and problem solving in practical settings. Also, I'm not doing KZbin for the money, really, it's just to (hopefully) reach a lot of people.

I hope he never does anything that is locked behind a paywall forever. I can't be the only person following him who has absolutely nothing I can pay. I can't even afford the 3 dollars a month to join the KZbin channel and have to wait for videos to be free.

I do post now few videos that are only for channel members, but they are... minor additions to things I already have public. And you should be able to do those updates using what I teach publicly as well, so, nothing really 'secret' and I don't plan on changing that.
