Thank you very much for this video. I work as health adviser where I do ECGs and other health checks but I don’t have any formal medical training. I’ve been reading about the topics but could never really get the big picture of how the surgical interventions, medicine and diseases are linked together. Thanks to your explanation, it’s a lot easier to comprehend it! And it’s very enjoyable too!

👍🏻👍🏻 perfect, since I started reading your notes and watching videos I don’t need my university notes and doesn’t need to read any books. One request if you could please make one or couple video about medicines interaction it will really help to know more about medicines like verapamil and bisoprolol can be a risk. BRILLIANT

very helpful video! just a tip on the PCI, idk abt in america, but here we usually do a.radials dex access 90% of the time. if we cant get it then a.rad sin and then if that's a no-go too, a.fem dex. so if pci's been done there might be a scar from the compression band on the left wrist.

I have unstable angina post 3 MI's and five stents, I have to work really hard at not getting stressed or worked up, I can hike for miles without symptoms yet sometimes just chilling out can bring on an attack. It's annoying and scary not knowing if/when an attack might happen..

I guess he showed in the video the per cutaneous intervention method so there is a solution. If this were not present imaging how many deaths could have occurred. The problem is not with the advancing of medical science. The problem is with the degrading lifestyle of humans.

Two drugs for angina of which yet i have not had any such thing and so i did not take those drugs !!!! But then i now have started the issorbide er 15 mg a low dose cause it sats people with ckd shoukdnt take issorbide or they may can taje a low dise but watch carefully.......watch what???

Thats my question cause when i had my nuclear stress test then i came back and had the cath lab thats when dr tells me yes i hsd many blockages in ythe tiny small vessels that feed up into the other heart arteries and too small for him to stent ....now i was not as of yet having any angina but this dr goes ahead and prescribes me hellalot of drugs two were isosorbide er and ranezoline which i didnt find out till later why those drugs....well i didnt take any of those drugs but months later i did start to have the dang angina episodes although yeah id alreafy been having that in my skeep itd wake me up hurting so in my throat area somewhat in chest had to sit up my bp ....itd be 200 am and my bp would be 214/98........then i woukd just sit a moment breath derp. ..check again....164/ 78.....wonder what made my bp go up so high as i sleot???? So now as of 3 weeks agobi take the asosorbide er 15 mg cause i have ckd stage 2 and i already read up it says be careful eith this drug taje low doses if you have ckd

@Trazynn
@Trazynn 3 жыл бұрын
@@Yeoldepube that could be angina variant, it's much less common than unstable angina. For me it was caused by very high blood pressure even though I'm otherwise fit and can exercise intensively without complications. Once I started working on lowering my blood pressure through food, the symptoms decreased.
@Yeoldepube
@Yeoldepube 3 жыл бұрын
@@Trazynn yep that’s my problem I stopped eating salt and I had little to no symptoms
@Trazynn
@Trazynn 3 жыл бұрын
@@Yeoldepube salt was a major problem for me as well. Exercise allowed me to eat a lot of it without problems but now that the gyms are closed due to the lockdown the immediate change in lifestyle created this problem. For people with angina variant the problem is that it affects their sleep and lack of sleep in turn raises blood pressure, a vicious cycle. One way out of that cycle is a high dose of magnesium, it's a relatively safe diuretic that relieves hypertension temporarily so you can at least sleep again.
