I have been diagnosed recently with cholangiocarcinoma adenocarcinoma after much pain in the right side and pain in the middle of my body by my gallbladder or liver area, much itchy skin and almost reddish urine and gassy feeling, after months i finally got jaundice and the pain was unbearable, finally went to hospital and had bile duct stent surgery and after 4 replacement stents over a years time.,They found cancer now. I just had my 1st oncologist visit, tomorrow is ct scans to stage the cancer. Thanks again, great video. HUGS and GOD bless you all 🤗.

My sister was in surgery for 11 straight hours to remove the cancer. She was diagnosed with “Bio Duct” cancer. After 3 days she was sent home. The entire family couldn’t understand how the Chief of Surgeon In Gainesville Hospital, could send her home so quickly after 11 hours of surgery. She was at home for 2 days. And was airlifted from Tallahassee back to Gainesville Hospital. There was blood coming from her incision all over the place. It was horrible to watch her endure this. They took her back into surgery for another 5 hours. She did not make it through this surgery and died on November 18, 2023. How does a doctor think that sending a patient home after 11 hours of surgery within 3 days is permutable? I can’t wrap my head around this. It doesn’t make any sense. I’m so grief stricken 😢😢😢

I lost someone close to me to this cancer. It was very aggressive and horrible. She also had surgery and the doctor had discharge orders, when I asked him why he would send her home like that, he very calmly explained that he would rather her pass at home in comfort than in a cold, busy hospital.

Thank you for your reply. This was so kind of you. We didn’t have no idea at all from the Dr. if it was aggressive. He didn’t communicate that to us. His bed side manner was less than desirable.

My dad is gonna die from it probably within a week from now. He had a mild stroke in early July 2022 and basically totally recovered. Then in September had a worse one that affected some parts of his memory and slowed his walking down. About a week after the 2nd stroke blood work showed super high liver enzymes and a CT scan showed a liver tumor (not an alcoholic or anything like that) They took him off blood thinners so they could do the biopsy and then he had a much larger stroke that put him in the ICU with his right side paralyzed. I was worried it would happen when he went off the blood thinners. They did end up doing the biopsy though at least Now it's 4 days after the 3rd stroke and he's going into Hospice. He so thin and had been feeling much more tired in the few weeks between the 2nd and 3rd stroke. So we pretty much knew he didn't have much time left All I can say is at least it went fast and he never experienced much pain. And he would not have wanted to be paralyzed and have his brain scrambled the way it is right now and live years and years like that. So the fact that this cancer is killing him so quickly is a blessing in some ways. He's 72 and will never have to deal with dementia and I know that was always his biggest worry about aging so I'm glad about that Edit: he did have random hiccups for the past year or so and had lost weight. But he had gone on the keto diet and had lost weight from that also. So the weight loss all kind of blended together. until he got really thin in the past 4 months or so Long story short: the cancer caused 3 strokes in less than 4 months. And the cancer is going to kill him 3 weeks after the blood work and CT scan showed the tumor

@@davaj2008 thanks, in a lot of ways it's comforting that this cancer is so deadly. We can't look back and be like "if we caught it earlier maybe we could a done this treatment or another treatment" instead it's just like "ehh basically was going to kill him 100% of the time regardless of treatment"

My mum got diagnosed 13 may 2024. The tumors block the bile duct causing jaundice. Then the surgeon puts a Stent in the bile duct. Later the tumor grows and bleeds or pierces the liver arteries.. the patient bleeds to death which is what's my mum going thru now. Giving her blood transfusions but can't do it forever. It's a terrible cancer.

@@lhakpabhuti1514 my mum passed away on the 13th August 2024 Tuesday night. Due to laying in bed blood clots formed and blocked circulation to her lower limbs, causing swelling and feet turning purple and oozing. The Dr said it might turn gangrene and have to amputate but she passed away two days after that. It's a terrible thing to reach the point where one hads to wish their parent passes on. This cancer is a trauma in so many ways.
