Understanding Electric Discharges. How exactly does an electrical discharge start? What are the different types of discharges and how are they different from each other. In this video, I will attempt to explain this. I will cover the different breakdown regimes, from dark mode, to glow mode to arc mode. Within these, we will examine different types such as corona, brush discharge, glow, partial discharge, arc, streamer, vacuum arc, etc.
