I got this camera a few yrs ago and because of not being able to get the right light settings and wasted to many packs of film . So il have to get it out again and play round to see if I can get it sorted lol thanks for this video. Xxx

Molly used a digital camera and then cut around the image on a photo editing software like Photoshop. There are apps you can use on your phone for ease though!

So what setting would you use if it’s night time outside?

The indoor setting, I believe, as it has the highest exposure meaning it let's the most light in. Of course there's also gonna be the flash, but the indoor setting would be what you'd use for outside pictures. That or the high key setting

Hi there! Lights flashing usually mean there is a battery error. We recommend changing/charging the batteries in your camera/printer. We recommend alkaline batteries.

I had the same problem. It started working once I took a flashlight and shined it into the light sensor for 30 seconds. After that now the indicator lights up according to the lighting. Before only the house one would light up.

I’m more confused after seeing this video. So the exposure options indicate how much light they let in or does it indicate what the current ambiance is ? For instance when I select the house 🏠 exposure does it mean I’m standing in a place where there is poor lighting or does it mean im standing in a bright place but I will want to let only a little light light into the camera so I select the house option to tell the camera to let as much as light in as how it would be if one were home. So which one is it :( ? What you are saying is that when your in a poorly lit area the camera automatically selects the home icon which means it’ll let more light in. But how can it let more light in when the room is already poorly lit? Where is this more light coming from? So confused!!! Argh.

Hi there! Firstly, the sensor on the front of the camera will sense the light conditions in the environment, so the orange light will always tell you which setting to put the camera on. Inside the camera is a shutter, when you press the button on the front of the camera, this shutter opens letting light into the camera and exposing the film to the light and therefore creating your image. Changing the settings on the camera changes how wide the shutter opens. ie. open wider, more light is let into the camera to expose the image. Shutter narrower, lets less light in when you are in a really bright environment. This will happen whether you are in a low light or bright room, it's about how much light is let into the camera and on to the film. Hope that helps :)

Great review of a terrible product. Ultra fickle and seldom works. Film very expensive and a waste of money. Steer clear.
