Understanding Eyelet Curtains - What Are They, How to Measure and More

Hi... Would like to ask you can eyelets curtain overall width of 4 m able to cover window of 2.40m plus both sides tolerance say 0.3m would totalled at 3m width wall + window. If 4m eyelet curtain able to cover 3m width wall + window ?

1. Your window is 240cm + 30 + 30 = 300cm If you were using a 4m curtain the total amount of extra fabric would be 33% which is not going to be enough for a pleat. The fabric would be flat. I would recommend a curtain of a minimum of 1.5x the track width as a real minimum. For an ideal look you want double your track width. so 300 x 2 = 600cm of flat fabric to cove the space. This would give you a nice deep pleat with the eyelets. Hope that makes sense.
