I do not know the average age of the people who watch this series, but if I had to assume, I would say they're probably a lot younger than me. I am 21, a CS major with an associate degree. I never struggled with math until high school. Math was very tough, and I decided to sleep rather than to attend my final test which resulted in me failing math. I do not regret any of my decisions, I know that now I am a young adult watching a KZbin video about improper fractions and mixed numbers, and to some individuals that's perhaps pathetic, but I realized I could never excel at this field if I do not start from the very basics. I created a learning schedule with a deadline and everything and I decided to include this series into my schedule. It has been pretty useful. English is not my first language, and hearing some of these terms was insightful.

It’s the easiest way in the UK if you didn’t study CS at uni/college. Now after 3 years i’m fairly confident at a few things, but i do mostly SRE stuff, not as much coding as before. Would highly recommend, it’s low pay for 2 years max but now my salary tripled so worth that pain Edit: i will just add, it also helps if you enjoy tech, and not just get into it for sake of it.

4:33 I can see saying 6/8 leaves us with two slices left over, but how does reducing that to 3/4 still mean you have two left over? Wouldn't that be 1 left over? Does it just mean the one slice is a big as the previous two slices put together? So it's essentially the same because the proportions are equal? We would still say 1 slice is left over though. Is it a good idea to reduce the fraction when the original equation is dealing with x/8 slices? When the chef is used to 8ths wont he be confused by 3/4?
