A question for you please..... Is speaking in tongues the only evidence of having the holy spirit? I have accepted the Gospel of our lord Jesus and believe i was saved by the finished work of the cross. I am born again, but i can't speak in tongues. Still i feel deep in inside of me that the holy spirit is with me. Is speaking in tongues some kind of special gift given to certain people of a greater spiritual strength and height? Need an answer please.

Akame G ahone No,it doesn’t mean that you are not saved. Pentecostals usually say that if you don’t have the gift of the tongues you are not saved. Wrong! There are many gifts from the Spirit

Holy Spirit is God in us which means God manifested in us spiritually. God is Above All :Above time ,Above creation ,Above spiritual realm .

But if you interact with one person of the Trinity you interact with the whole 3 because those 3 persons are just one God. In my case I always adressed my prayers to Jesus. Because it’s kind of confusing if you pray to each persons it’ like you are praying to 3 Gods and confusing so better stick to one person when praying pray to Jesus and the Father will answer.

Jon please correct your teachings of the trinity. There is no such thing as the trinity of God. Instead of there being three entities as you review them, we must understand God is one deity. No, 3 entities cannot be 1 deity. God the Son is not biblical, the Son of God is. In other words Jesus is God the Father manifest flesh, Jesus is the Father (John 14:10, John 10:30). When we see Jesus we will see the Father and when we see the Father we will see Jesus (John 14:9). The trinity is miss representation of God, where people look to give a Godhead to each entity (1 God the Father; 2 God the Son; 3 God the Holy Spirit). This goes back to Catholicism teachings and even back to Pagan beliefs in three Godheads. Christians serve one God manifest through the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus is not God the Son, but rather Jesus is the Father. We can't go around making people believe that Jesus is independent from the Father, and the Father is independent from Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is independent from the Father. That's exactly what believing in a Trinity makes people believe. P.S. Maybe look to start reading the KJV and not the NIV. Please don't just ignore what I said and go read the scriptures properly until you understand it. God bless you. With Love I come to you to correct you.

umm i dont mean to disprove ur beliefs or anything but i did my daily reading today and i read a chapter in John chapter 5 19-24 and Lord Jesus says to honor the Son so we may honor the Father because Lord God gave him everything im order we may understand and believe. He states in this chapter he is equal to Lord God.

@@francisduplayna2909 Not sure how those scriptures defeats my point, but if anything those scriptures strengthens it "the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner." (verse 19). It is not about dismissing Jesus as the Son of God, but rather understand His likeness of the Father. The trinity does not teach that. God bless you
