You just blew mind mind and made me happy! I just discovered arpeggios and just started on G major shape... and then you said all major shapes are the same and life just got easier. I was going to move to C major next and learn that shape... no need!

Thanks man! Yeah it can seem very overwhelming, and they are still the most complicated things to memorise I think, but I'm glad I could help man!

@@GuitaRhys Maybe a tutorial on improving syncing up picking hand and playing hand? For articulate pieces my picking is not timed with my playing hand so if you could maybe make a video on that it would be great!

More related to fingerstyle but I would love to see you talk about adding in bass notes in cool ways with the melody. For example the solo in landslide by Lindsey Buckingham, Rhiannon by Lindsey as well. There is a Cover of Albatross - Peter Green done by Marvin B Naylor on KZbin that does it really nicely too. Thanks!

Hi Guitarhys. Long time listener, first time commenter. I really want to impress this girl that I've just started dating, while keeping it funny and light-hearted. I was thinking of nailing down a tune like Flight of the Conchords - Most Beautiful Girl. Can you play us this sweet sweet melody for a little inspiration. Thanks man, love your work. Big J.

So, if I have this right, this is how guitarists playing together do call and response.
@GuitaRhys7 ай бұрын
Hey man! Yeah I'd say you're exactly right there, like how guitarists can have a musical convo in real time
